The RX 6500 XT is my first AMD GPU, I tried OCing the core and memory, in synthetic benchmarks and many games it works flawlessly, but in Apex legends I get frequent crashes... Tried many things, now I've seattled with stock core and memory frequencies, with fast timings and power limit to the maximum, my card has a small factory OC so with these settings it boosts and maintain to 2850 mhz wich seems pretty good to me already.

Hello crack. There are really very few videos talking about undervolt in these "new" graphics. I have one and I find it spectacular what it performs for what its price is. My query is... My junction temperature ranges between 80 and 90 degrees, it also usually drops a little more when it cools down a bit, but that is the average that goes around my graph, while the active temperature is around 64 degrees at full load. What do you think of those values? Greetings.
the SAM on 6500xt reduces perfomance heavily i would suggest u turning that off and by turning it off i mean in bios, cause for some reason it still affects the card if u just turn it off in the panel.

i don't mind with the noise of the fan, i put to 100 at any degrees, it looks like almost 5000rpm, so i can getting my graphic card always cold, but the fact that it always at 42 degrees is confusing me, because before i put the fan to 100 it can go to 34 degrees

Does rx 5700 have older GPU tunning or smth? i don't have minimum or maximum its P1, P2, P3 should I make them all 100mhz apart or only P1 and P3 100mhz, if I do that then P2 to others apart are 50mhz. i hope you understand what I meant to say I'm not really good at explaining

I have a question. I have a new RX 6700 XT that at stock settings gives sparkles. I tried undervolting to 1150 mHz, 2500 and 2600 mHZ with power slider to max and it crashed. I tried MSI afterburner and set max clock to 2600 mHz and it seems fine. Assuming I lost the silicon lottery what would be my best settings? should I try 1180 mV and same other settings or leave it at 1200 mV.
@@AncientGameplays I'm not sure how else to explain the graphical glitches. They are almost like bright spots in the rendering. I tried 1180 mV and 2500 mHz and 2600 mHz and it seems fine now. The gpu hot spot temp from HWinfo64 gets to 93 degrees Celcius maximum. I;;m guessing it was overheating. Yes its an AMD reference card.
Not related with 6500XT but i just ended oc and uv my 6700xt nitro, but there a times when i turn on pc the wattman resetts the settings, sometimes not, i dont have artifacts, but idk why this happens....

This happens to my 6700 xt MSI GX. After disabling hardware control or monitoring on MSI afterburner or any other software that can intervene with adrenaline software. It happens less often now, but recently wattman resetts settings. I store a gaming profile, and load when it resets.

Hey man, your cpu and even more your ram are the issue there it seems. Also, if you're running that card with pcie3.0 you're losing performance as well

@@Fgr_09 Hola ignacio, en mi caso sinceramente no me hace falta hacerle nada a la GPU (ya probe varias configuraciones) y siempre me funciono mejor en predeterminado osea como viene de fabrica. con respecto al undervolt tampoco hizo falta en mi caso ya que tiene muy buenas temperaturas. Por ultimo puedo decirte que en la configuracion del panel de AMD siempre depende los juegos que tengas. yo solamente juego counter strike 1.6 y CS GO. para ellos te puedo decir cual es la mejor cfg. Si jugas otros juegos te recomiendo seguir mirando videos y probar, probar. consejo: no toques nada que no entiendas bien

My god, keep still make the same stupid mistake. I think AMD needs to change how overcloking works. If you increase the core clk, you cant undervolt at the same time. Example stock 2600 @ 1.2v. If you set 2800 it will require a theoretical of 1.3v but because u cant increase that high u are overclocking. If you lower to 1.14v and OC to 2800, you still will get 1.2v because 1.3v - 0.06v (1.2-1.14) = 0.06v. 1.3v -0.06v = 1.24v which is still higher than 1.2v max.....

100C is quite much, you either have a bad model or your case airflow is poor. Also, i have a 6700xt video, follow that one

If you have a 6900 XT you should undervolt to 1130 Try 2420 minimum core and 2620 max core and use more power tool and raise that baby to 350 watts

Ran DDU again for AMD and my former 1660 ti and after the nvidia run some driver remnants showed up in the recycle bin after DDU. Working fine now.

Can you help me with my RX 6500 XT please? I have very unstable FPS and low GPU usage. Around 40-50%, CPU is around 30-40% usage.

RX 6500 XT MECH
2x8GB Corsair Vengeance LPX 2400 Mhz C16 XMP 2.0
750 Watt PSU EVGA Gold
Gigabyte H410m H V3.
Kingston NV1 NVMe PCIe SSD 500GB M.2 2280 - SNVS/500G
I have seen people with the same specs as me, only with an i3 10100 instead of an 10105, who get good and stable fps and RX 6500 Xt usage of around 98%.
You most likely have a cpu and ram bottleneck. Mostly ram

pcie gen 3 is so much limit your 6500xt performance. you must buy proc and motherboard with pcie gen 4

No it does not as this card doesn’t have hardware encoding

Now seriously, this card is pretty low tdp, no sense in undervolting, but if you want to, just decrease the slider...
My god, keep still make the same stupid mistake. I think AMD needs to change how overcloking works. If you increase the core clk, you cant undervolt at the same time. Example stock 2600 @ 1.2v. If you set 2800 it will require a theoretical of 1.3v but because u cant increase that high u are overclocking. If you lower to 1.14v and OC to 2800, you still will get 1.2v because 1.3v - 0.06v (1.2-1.14) = 0.06v. 1.3v -0.06v = 1.24v which is still higher than 1.2v max.....
Actually you can. I did that on all my cards...you just need to work with thr offset
