Ayan Maity its is recognised as a classical dance form of bengal. We receive senior and junior both scholarship and fellowship from the ministry of culture.

​​@@RachanaKar7 But why has Sangeet Natak Akademi and also Ministry of Culture not included it in the official 'Classical Dances of India' in their websites?Though Gaudiya Nritya receives scholarship, it is still not recognised as an official classical dance form.. It is very sad!😢 Delighted seeing your and Dr.Mahua's efforts in reviving this ancient dance form. 😊
I hope the government soon includes this dance form in the official list of Classical Dance forms of India besides giving scholarship to artists..
