I'd imagine the scene after the cliffhanger to be a person in control of Arceus, Dialga, Palkia and Giratina. Either that or a custom "Abomination" Pokemon of original design or an amalgamation of all four godlike pokemon.
Who uses a move like Hydro Cannon, which has a recharge turn, on a pokemon with a sliver of health remaining? That makes no sense. If not for that, then this battle would have snowballed even more heavily in Red and Lance's favor than it already did.

The episode actually wasn't meant to end with a cliffhanger. I intended on showing what the Champs reacted to, but the 3D model of the entity I was going to show would crash the Distortion World map whenever I loaded it in-game. I spent hours investigating why and couldn't figure it out. Distortion World maps for whatever reason don't load 3D objects (independent of the map) in the same way the regular DPPt maps do, causing the game to yell at you if you try placing those objects on the maps like you would on the regular maps. It's an issue I'll have to solve at some point, since the Distortion World is going to feature heavily in Sinnoh Tales down the line. Unfortunately, this episode's ending was a casualty in the learning process : P Thanks for your support : )
