    Exposing the dhs rubber in the air will cause the rubber surface to lose it stickiness and shine, that is the main thing, so cover it when not being played. How you clean it doesn't matter too much.

    Using distilled water with a sponge to clean after daily usage and Revolution 3 rejuvinator works extremely well for tacky rubber. Other commercial cleaners aren't nearly as good. I'll try this method and see if it is better but the current process makes it feel like new for a couple of years without fuss.

    Well, it seems you contradicted yourself from an earlier video where you said that putting plastic on the rubber is not necessary because, "look at the pros, they put their racket right into the case". My thought on this was that they do this because they dont have to pay for the rubbers, so I still went out and got a butterfly sheet to put on my rubbers.

    So basically any oil boosts your rubber. Obv only do this when the rubber is lacking its original tackiness since it will increase degredation.
    Apart from that just clean it regularly to remove dust etc.

    I don't think you are allowed to use olive oil or something like that.
    According the rules, your rubber should have the same characteristics as when you bought it from the store.
    Anything else applied to it, isn't allowed unless it's ittf approved.
    I know you are not getting advantages by using it but I know some people in lower divisions who use pips and try to change them by putting some weird stuff on it or even microwaving their pips to make them softer and more wobbly.
    Imo just use water and a sponge.

    • @Swingingjazzhouse
      @Swingingjazzhouse 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thats right. They forgot to say, hairspray is a superbooster😉 . . . But microwaving makes the pimples harder, so the ball have no grip on it. But thats also why the pimps brake so fast.😁

    - Clean chinese rubbers with water after every session and always use the plastic sheet before you put it in the case.
    - If it touches anywhere, it will gather dust and dirt, resulting in it loosing tackiness.
    - Olive oil is only effective if a tacky rubber has lost its tackiness, and using too much can make the top sheet brittle and crack. Clean the rubber with water and use 1 thin layer to restore tackiness. Use 2 layers only if the first didn't do much. A 3rd one could alter the characteristics of the rubber.
    - Olive oil works like booster, it expands and softens the topsheet and at the same time brings out the chemicals that make it tacky, too much oil can burn the top sheet, in a similar way that too much booster can rip the sponge or make it too soft, uneven and unplayable.

      coconut oil. not even joking. mix it with a bit of clean petrol from any DIY store, to keep it liquid and it's fantastic (few drops and massage the rubber with your hand). but don't abuse it. maybe once every 2 or 3 months. maintains the elasticity. and acetone on a sponge to clean up. doesn't hurt and it dries fast.

    hey coach... i have a question
    so i bought this rubber 5 month ago and it looses it's tackinnes after 5 hour of training each day and all i have left was the grip of the rubber.. does rubber without tackinnes still generate good spin? ( japanese rubber )

    • @slater5126
      @slater5126 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Tackiness in rubber is an important factor when it comes to generating spin. When a rubber has good tackiness, it allows the ball to grip the rubber surface for a longer period of time, resulting in greater spin. However, if the tackiness of the rubber decreases over time, as it appears to be happening in your case, it will become more difficult to generate spin.
      Rubber without tackiness can still generate spin, but the amount of spin will be reduced. The amount of spin generated will also depend on other factors such as the surface of the ball and the technique used.
      In terms of your specific situation, it's possible that the rubber you purchased was not of high quality or was not designed for long-term use. You may want to consider trying a different brand or type of rubber that is known for its durability and tackiness.
      Additionally, it's important to take care of your rubber by cleaning it regularly with a rubber cleaner and storing it in a cool, dry place. Excessive heat and humidity can cause the tackiness of the rubber to deteriorate more quickly.
      I hope this information helps! Let me know if you have any more questions.
