If you or someone you know wants to learn to play the autoharp, but can't afford to buy one, there is a group called Autoharp Angels that will gift one to you. Pete D'aigle, who builds the most beautiful autoharps, runs the program. People donate used autoharps that are no longer being used, and Pete gets them tuned and/or repaired, whatever each one needs to be functional, and these are the autoharps that are donated to those who want to learn to play but don't have the means to buy one. They do ask a few non-intrusive questions to determine a person's eligibility, need, etc. If you Google "Autoharp Angels" their page comes up, and you can take it from there! Good luck!
@@gabriellejulliard1619 they’re quite different sounding beasts! Pros and cons with each one. One thing to consider is that the autoharp has very limited number of playable chords (search images of them to see what chords they have) limitation can sometimes be cool, but also a letdown at other times when you realize you can’t play a progression you’d like to.
The background music in the video was too loud and too intrusive. It overpowered your voice and it was hard to listen to the instrument with the music playing.
