I am so very proud of this young God bless Dr. Rogers. He knew his dad loved him so being a follower of Jesus Christ, he knows what true love is and his father's potential aswell. In a country where black men are not treated well especially because there is systemic system that put black father down or set them up for jail so their children won't have them around to daddy them. It is a Chris Like loving and beautiful message Dr. Rogers is giving to America, don't give up on your loved ones, God will bless you in the process of Restoration. Doctor am exceptionally so very proud of you and the Mother and Father who raised you. God's greatest blessings in all aspects of your life. Your a true example of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. I love this young man he has a forgiving heart he truly is a child of the KING. For him to be there for his father in his time of need that's why he is so blessed. I can't stop crying!

I saw this on tv yesterday, not only is the story something that impacts someone in a good way but roger mitchell jr is a VERY strong minded individual. I do respect the man to a very good degree after seeing how he has helped his own father achieve greatness

As an English woman I find that Black Americans are so real. I love the fact that political correctness can go to hell in these God loving people. I love the fact that now that real opportunities have opened for them, that they are thriving and achieving their real potential. What an utter waste of human life and potential racial discrimination was and still is.

You put it exactly the way it should be. Racism has resisted the African Americans from thriving for centuries. Their ancestors were kidnapped under the barrel of the gun with nothing, yet have been able to become something for themselves. Who knows where they would have been without the constant road blocks by the scared people with the fake so called " white supremacy " ideology. Black excellence !!.

A fact and compliment because I definitely gave one of the best lectures I ever heard in the two years. Yes you are right it is sad. The weirdest (scariest) thing is that the black male population has drastically dropped in the past 20 years at my school in particular. In one of the incoming classes there were only 4 black males and two of them the only black male in their lineage was their great great grandfather or further back.
