Important things I didn't show in this video: - Killer can shoot you DIRECTLY with his gun once you're "infected" by the Slipstream and automatically teleport to you in "Overclocked" mode, which makes him faster at breaking pallets/walls, vaulting and makes stuns automatically destroy pallets (with a small speed slowdown if this happens). This is great at closing the gap and forces Survivors to be very smart with their resources. - Killer also has some robotic voicelines during some animations!

Which is fucking stupid. Some dude was holding w and managed to keep me in chases for a minute. It’s fucking dumb and broken and they were all running it.
I'm so happy that BHVR is adding more chase perks on the survivor side, also I think that the 3% haste and 10 second endurance perk is fine because you can't really use it with Sprint Burst or Lithe which are both meta! I think that this update added another meta that isn't compatible with the current meta which is very healthy imo as it adds more variety.
@@jacksonville9642 I joined a little over a month she released, I heard so little about her it took me another 2 weeks for me to realize she was a new killer lmao
Wym? I think if you wait half a sec to for the people someone, you’ll get the endurance effect. That’s how we’re gonna live forever was/is, haven’t ran in a while.
Made for this activates when you become injured. For the people can only be used when healthy. In order for for the people to make you injured, Made For This cannot be active. Hypothetically, if For the People injures you and the heal discreetly occurs after it has injured you, it might combine, but they seem simultaneous. I don't think they would combo and if they do it would be a low stakes fix to simply make the heal occur before the player becomes injured by FTP
@@judjudson4399 I don’t really get wym tbh. It just says made for this activates when injured, and gives you 3% speed, and endurance affect after healing someone. It sounds like when you heal someone with for the people, you yourself obv become injured and would get the endurance and 3%
all i have to say about scavenger is that it takes the time to get to a chest, and complete the action of opening a chest unless running plunderers, but stake out and plunderers would make for a weaker build, so you would have to sacrifice 2 perk slots, get off your gen, run to a chest, search it, hit all great skill checks, and run back. all while avoiding the killer that may or may not have ruin or pop. so i don’t see much problem with this perk but that’s just me
You're focused on the wrong thing. No one is using Scav to find a toolbox, but to restore a toolbox you already bring with add-ons. Just to be clear, I don't think the perk is strong, but no one is concerned about finding toolboxes in chests.
either way, wether trying to find a toolbox or bringing one, taking the time to restore the toolbox is time you could have spent holding m1 on a gen, so it evens out in the end. if killers have a gen blocking perk, ruin or pop, etc. it’s going to make this even worse for the survivors who lost a ton of their progress in trying to restore their toolbox which again they are going to have to get off their gen, find a chest, hit all skillchecks, and run back to the gen, while avoiding the killer. depending on the map and if you’re running plunderers, this has to take at LEAST 20 seconds (about 22% of a gen) more or less.
I truly think this is going to be a great addition to Dead By Daylight as a whole. The character is wonderful, especially that cool af mori. While the map is very hard on the eyes, i think it makes sense, especially because of the fact theyre trying to add a new category of horror into the mix. A thick and unfamilar jungle sounds amazing. Its definitely a cool change from their average maps
Placing the camera's in well-hidden places so you can teleport to infected survivors from across the map (preferably while they're on a generator) is going to be so much fun - and finally, a new killer with some map pressure!

I know people are complaining about the perk: “Made For This” but remember Blood Echo exist. And you can use thanatophobia with the new killer’s exhaustion perk so the survivors will either be exhausted or have to be penalized for not healing.
Not to mention the new Killer perk which immediately inflicts Exhausted on someone after they do healing, that'd counter the For the People Made For This strategy
So you need to bring specific counters for a perk that might even not be there? And what do people do if they don't have them? Made for This and Scavenger are Insanely broken
@@Mother_Harlot Though that is true, in this game it’s unpredictable, you don’t know what anyone is gonna bring, what killer you are gonna play against, etc. For example you could bring the sacrificial ward and someone wouldn’t even bring a map offering. It’s hit or miss.
@The Camel Channel FTP doesn't have anything to do with Exhausted. It just heals a survivor for one health state while making you broken for a short time in addition to making you the obsession
The Mori is definitely up there for one of the best….I will say this though how come no one is mentioning the fact that the Mori is always blocked and covered up due to the camera angle?! It’s a great Mori too bad you don’t get to see all of it most of the time unless you really go out of your way to have nothing block the view
The only gripe i have with this is that forced hesitation seems kind of good for proxy camping/tunneling, especially in end game (tho to me end game camping is justified) if the person unhooking gets downed after saving, the person who just got off hook (and everyone else around) is gonna suffer from the hindered effect making it easier to tunnel. i may be wrong though, otherwise i love everything about this chapter
Honestly I like the new perks, I’ll rather see a new meta of new perks then the old perks always being meta. As for the new PH buff, my god, I’m glad to see they want to buff him but the tunnel will be worse then nurse and blight. At least with nurse and blight you have a chance with OTR and DS, a tunneling pyramid head you have none of those
what about having no S tier killers at all, wouldn't that be more healthier for the game? i really hope the Pyramid Head buff doesn't go live they should buff weak killers like the Pig, Sadako, Myers, Freddy and the Trapper lol, the balance team have no idea what they're doing
The survivor ones are too freaking much with the right build we will see gens disappear in seconds. Toolkits are already insane that perk is too much. The Pocket hope perk also is insane. Then free aura read perks which while most people won't use, IS INSANE if your a team player.
After the disaster that was The Skull Merchant, we should really let the Devs know what an amazing job they've done with The Singularity. We need to let them know that this is type of content we want. The design and everything is honestly amazing
"Made for this" maybe my favorite perk of the 6 cause it's balanced yet strong and makes for a very fun sounding risk reward when combined with resilience.
@@JuanFranco-mq7jsthe risk is you’re injured??? What? you make a mistake and you’re dead plain and simple no endurance when you press a button the killer is still faster than you by default and with bloodlust 3 that’s an extra 15% faster what exactly are you crying about?
They should've made a Meet Your Maker oriented Killer, that would've been really cool to have in the game, but this one kinda looks like one already, I dig it
Love you otz, recently tuned into your stream and saw a lot of people trying to criticise every little thing you did or said, you are a blessing to this community and probably the only reason half the playebase hasn’t quit
I feel like hoarder and enduring would be amazing on the new killer. I mean u get a small stun duration when I coming in contact with pallets after a slipstream, but the survivors also have to get emps to get rid of the biopods
That more is amazing. It actually damages the survivor model and I love the A.I. speaking to the survivor as it kill kills them, treating them like minor inconveniences
Tinkerer + Machine learning seems like a good combo because it tells you when a gen in close to being finished so you can kick it, plus you get undetectable when the gen is at 70% and when its done so thats a lot of undetectable uptime
Im very nervous the killer can look at gens with cameras and tp to them to hold a 3 gen like skull merchant and knight. Ill watch the video and find out. High hopes for this to not suck!
I've got a got a feeling forced hesitation will be made into a basic attack only. Feels a little OP as a down by any means. Just imagine and Oni with discordance. Also nurse exists. Also at this remains the same it's going to be great on Bubba. Oh and scavenger needs to change. But they all look really good they just need a few minor tweaks minor emphasis on minor BHVR and they'll be pretty good. And the killer in general great cool design and a good power and brutal mori. The only problem I see with his power is placement is going to be very important kinda like trapper. It must be placed in areas where survivors were frequent like main building, shack or unfinished generators. Also I might get a bit less powerful on indoor maps. However other than that this is well its awesome. Good job Behavior you made a good one.
I’m playing this killer a ton on the ptb and trust me use the purple addon that infects everyone combine it with lethal you’ll have the best early game pressure you’ll ever witness then also add a few chase palet eating perks and enjoy (add deadlock or something aswell)
I have a feeling the killer is going to play a lot like the skull merchant and knight. He’ll be really good at gen defense and stalling. The mori is probably in my top 5 favorites, really hitting that rouge AI vibe with the voice. It almost reminds me of Hal 9,000 or the AI from I have no mouth but I must scream. I also really like his design and animations, definitely one of the better visual designs from the past few months. His perks seem alright, that one where they suffer from exhaustion when someone gets downed is probably gonna be used a fair bit. The survivor looks kind of bland to me personally. His perks are pretty damn strong, the mini hope and scavenger are gonna be a problem. The map hurts my eyes a little, I think it looks good but it might be annoying playing multiple times in a row. Overall, I really like this first dive into the sci-fi horror genre for the game, and I hope it won’t be the last. Maybe we’ll get a more “alien” killer later this year.
The killer mains in chat are a bunch of hypocrites lmao. They pog when they gain 6% speed and become undetectable when a generator gets finished but spam question marks when a survivor gains 3% when injured.
That’s what I’m saying, and calling Scavenger “busted pls nerf” is hilarious because built to last has been in the game 2 years and is a better perk than this.
The killer perk only lasts for thirty seconds and is tied to a specific generator, so if the survivors finish a different generator you get nothing. It's probably going to give killers on average a minute of haste over the course of the entire game, while the only limitation on the survivor perk is that you're injured and aren't exhausted. As long as you make your build with it in mind, you can easily take advantage of it for a third to half of the trial. Not to mention that haste is just inherently better on survivors than it is on killers
Its because the 4 survivors have it almost all the time during chase without any real activation whilst the killer version has a 30 second duration requiring a gen to be kicked, a survivor to be found within 30 seconds and them not being near a pallet or any loop for that matter
Couldn’t tell you. He’s saying that a perk that gives you undetectable and a 5-7% speed boost is “pretty good” buts freaking out over a perk that will be ran in 1 out of 100 games.
As someone who only plays this game in bursts, all I have to say about Made for This and Scavenger is that if they arent heavily nerfed/reworked entirely before live, thats a solid nope until next chapter for this game again. Gen rushing and holding W are already enough of a problem. It is genuinely baffling how unspeakably braindead behaviour would have to be to think those perks are ok.
@@DaftPanda1 I've been trying to download the PTB since I woke up 4 hours ago and was only able to do it 13 minutes prior to this comment (31 minutes from this reply)

You don't look at 3% as 3%, you look at 3% as reducing the killer's relative speed to you from 15% to 12%, which means you can make it to loops 25% further away before getting caught.
Which is fucking stupid. Some dude was holding w and managed to keep me in chases for a minute. It’s fucking dumb and broken and they were all running it.
Exactly!

For the people doesn't combo with Made For This, since you heal them before the perk gets activated. Still, getting 3% flat move speed seems crazy
Wym? I think if you wait half a sec to for the people someone, you’ll get the endurance effect. That’s how we’re gonna live forever was/is, haven’t ran in a while.
For the people also works with blood pact which has the same requirement of healing someone else
That 3 percent alone isn’t going to buy much time, you’d need something else to get the most reward out of this but it is still strong
@@judjudson4399 I don’t really get wym tbh. It just says made for this activates when injured, and gives you 3% speed, and endurance affect after healing someone. It sounds like when you heal someone with for the people, you yourself obv become injured and would get the endurance and 3%
Thank you otz and to whoever helps him on days like today. The community really appreciates it and you.
So glad that when the nanomachine gel got cover the entire chat just started yelling “NANOMACHINES, SON”
all i have to say about scavenger is that it takes the time to get to a chest, and complete the action of opening a chest unless running plunderers, but stake out and plunderers would make for a weaker build, so you would have to sacrifice 2 perk slots, get off your gen, run to a chest, search it, hit all great skill checks, and run back. all while avoiding the killer that may or may not have ruin or pop. so i don’t see much problem with this perk but that’s just me
You're focused on the wrong thing.
@@benp_4264 The time it takes to restore the box is literally M1 on a gen though..
The map looks crazy. I like the change of pace.
This killer seems pretty cool, super excited to see how its power and perks are utilized in the future.
True
Absolutely loving the new chapter so far, that map is BADASS.
Also 1:55 "Aim it like a pyramid head chain" lmao
That mori animation must be a reference to the death spheres in phantasm. They drill in the victim’s head and pump out the contents.

YOOOO! That look sick! Thank you otz for covering it so quickly!

Don’t forget fearmonger it’s so underrated
Can’t wait to see ayrun and jrm run made for this, for the people, soul guard, and blood pact
They’re reworking camping
You can't really camp anymore unless the gate is open.

Not because he plays DBD (I never have played the game)
It's because I love this lad, keep up the great work my guy!
Honestly I like the new perks, I’ll rather see a new meta of new perks then the old perks always being meta.
As for the new PH buff, my god, I’m glad to see they want to buff him but the tunnel will be worse then nurse and blight. At least with nurse and blight you have a chance with OTR and DS, a tunneling pyramid head you have none of those
what about having no S tier killers at all, wouldn't that be more healthier for the game? i really hope the Pyramid Head buff doesn't go live
they should buff weak killers like the Pig, Sadako, Myers, Freddy and the Trapper lol, the balance team have no idea what they're doing

If that perks gets released like that, you literally can only play Nurse with corrupt, deadlock etc. I hope they give it a massive nerf tbh.
Really cool, it's weird that they've taken so long to make a new killer, haven't seen one since Wesker
They should've made a Meet Your Maker oriented Killer, that would've been really cool to have in the game, but this one kinda looks like one already, I dig it

I feel like hoarder and enduring would be amazing on the new killer. I mean u get a small stun duration when I coming in contact with pallets after a slipstream, but the survivors also have to get emps to get rid of the biopods
Ai is definitely one of the ideas for a killer that I floated in my head for a while. By far one of the best designs

HOLY CRAP, THAT MORÍ WAS INTENSE! Maybe we can finally get headless morí for demo and split bubba mori now that we have that circling around
This map seems like it’ll be very good for trapper with the dense grass and asset cluttering.

rip the 4 remaining Hillbilly players on this map, it is WAY too cluttered and there may be a lot of invisible hitboxes that can catch your Chainsaw.
Or blight pinhead deathslinger and leatherface
The killer mains in chat are a bunch of hypocrites lmao. They pog when they gain 6% speed and become undetectable when a generator gets finished but spam question marks when a survivor gains 3% when injured.
Killer mains in general are hypocrites lmao
And yes, I play killer as much as survivor lol
Maybe because it can create scenarios where killer cant catch survivor in m1 chase? Thats shit is busted with hope against 110 killers
Its because the 4 survivors have it almost all the time during chase without any real activation whilst the killer version has a 30 second duration requiring a gen to be kicked, a survivor to be found within 30 seconds and them not being near a pallet or any loop for that matter
Thank you for reporting Otz!
Tbh I haven’t played this game in years, but I still watch otz videos for all the new content. Keep it up man!
Why is Otz making such a big deal about Scavenger when Built to Last has been a thing for like 2 years and does what Scavenger does but better?
Couldn’t tell you. He’s saying that a perk that gives you undetectable and a 5-7% speed boost is “pretty good” buts freaking out over a perk that will be ran in 1 out of 100 games.

Best killer we've had in awhile but the map is too cluttered in my op
so it goes through with the aliens level claustrophobia good.
Scavenger doesn't seem that bad, it's essentially just a less powerful version of built to last. And unlike built to last, you have to actually work for this perk to activate it's first ability.
Even if the perk is good, if there’s another perk in the game that does the same thing 5 times more efficiently it just becomes a bad perk lol
And I never see people using Built To Last. I'm not worried about this Scavenger perk at all.
you have to work to activate built to last too, i think this perk is only good bc you don’t need to leave your gen to activate it
