Get gold from achievements, crank up hero level with it + buy 200 coffers of legendary materials in items button below to make standard learning gear: daredevil's armor, bewitched sword, falcon figurine. Also spend some gold on vip level. Use learning gear to study invader (1st) and shaman (2nd) knowledge. Don't completely forget rss knowledge, do a bit. Keep your rss buildings including manors lvl with your town. Get troop capacity gear items like flaming helmet & mad man's axe for yielding more rss with less troops. Make different hero sets for all possible actions in the game. Only combine different actions in start of the game. First gear, the Peacehero, should contain the strongest standard gear items for the 3 basic actions in the game (learning, yielding, building). Those strongest items are: daredevil's armor, bewitched sword and falcon figurine for learning + flaming helmet and mad man's axe for yielding & victor's bracelet for building. After you get this set, you can start splitting it up into 3 different sets which you can save into hero slots.
Hi Nick, I was wondering if there is anyway to automate the continuous clicking of the "normal attack" button? Also, when I get to the maximum sustained attack percent, I should switch to the enhanced attack button, no?
GREAT VIDEO. Some of the tips are wrong though. For example your heros abode is level 21 giving 125% boost to hero xp. Gear is like 100% so 25% hero XP boost is ADDITIVE meaning you add 25% to 325%, which is closer to 8% in your case. Also critical hit is more important than Total attack because you get total attack also from hero masteries and booster. Meaning you can reach 120+% extra hero attack pretty easily so upgrading meaning for example Hero offense 2 (level 8) gives 4.8% extra offense which would actually be 4.8% * 100%/220%=2.2% average damage increase. Normal critical chance with this level is like 28.75%. Increase in critical hit 2 (level 8) would be 4.25%. Meaning (1+(0.2875+0.0425))/(1+(0.2875))*100%-100%= 3.3% average damage increase Reduced invader defense outscales all of these as additive modifier also. For example with reduced invader defense 5 you have 41.85% from hero skills + trait. Increasing it by 3.45% (to level 6) would be 1/(1-0.4185-0.0345) / (1/(1-0.4185)) *100%-100% = 6.3% damage increase
Can you give a general idea as to when you should start hitting the next level up of invader? I just unlocked invader 4 and am debating whether I should start going after those now or keep hitting lower level ones until I get some more knowledge
Great video! Can you please let me know how you've got 27mln energy on your hero? I'm quite new to the game but I have lvl 49 and only 1.5mln energy... I can still kill invaders with no problem just have to use the energy pack each time but I think it will be necessary when fighting another heros, how do I get more?

I have unlocked level 6 invader and maxed out levels., What I am having trouble with is making gear for my hero but can't get material that is Legendary. I select a helmet and it's rare of epic. How do I make it Legendary????????????
goto vikingswiki.net/ they have a list of al lthe gear in the game. except for the new special gear. You can do a search for learning speed in each category. That should help you. They categorize between normal gear and invader gear. Some learning speed gear you can only get from invaders.
Everyone make mistakes with lvl 5 and lvl 6. When you hit invader 5 you almost get unusual materials and gems, when you hit invader 6 you get rare materials and gems. Dont forget, you need 16 rare materials to get 1 legendary and 64 unusual materials to get 1 legendary. So Invader 6 have double or 2x double better drops then Invader 5, so go for Invader 6, yes its expensive but its worth.
I could another note for you. You should never add more energy than your energy capacity. If you do add energy that exceeds your capacity, you will waste energy that you could be accumulating... Allow your energy to continuously increase. 😃
It's a tough question to answer. In my experience its a waste of gold. Because once you can produce troops and have enough manors its much cheaper to just rebuild them. HOWEVER if you cant make T5's and you want them back there is no other way to get them back. So it really depends.

But the some first hits invader Lv5 you dont get good stuff. So it works only if you have a lot of energie bought and so I prever Lv1 with less energie and which die with one hit. averange 4x normal stuff and a little shit like food or 3m booster. ;)
Why does my kingdom only have 3 invader types .... Royal Guards, Serpents and Khazars? The Wiki says that there are 16 different types. I need mats from Centurions and Barbarians, but there are none on the map. I didn't see any in the other kingdoms I checked either.
They rotate. You only have 3 at a time at any given point. You can look at the Vikings facebook page to get an idea of what will be the next one. They announce it about 12 hours earlier.
If the guy's sample size was only 10 hits on each invader level, those cost per material numbers are probably not very accurate. I would do a sample size of 100, if I had the time. I'm guessing that the decrease in cost increments, as you level up, are much smoother than the numbers you gave. Also, why not do level 1, 2 and 3 invaders if that is all you have unlocked so far? If you don't do them, all of the hero energy that you would have accumulated is wasted. It's better to do level 1's than none at all, if that is all you have unlocked so far. I wouldn't use my boosts until I unlocked level 5's maybe, but I'd definitely use my regular hero energy for levels 1-4. Always attack the highest level invader that you have unlocked though, of course, and try to unlock the higher levels as soon as possible.
Don't even hit invader 5. Start hitting invaders when you attain invader 6 and complete all invader skills, except for critical hits. If you hit invaders early on, you are wasting money on invader packs.

After playing a couple of days, this F2P game suddenly became a P2P game... Unless one likes being idle for a while... In terms of weeks ! LMAO, Crap this. I've already spent 6+$, now on the 3rd day I'm contemplating the 12$ offer, which doesn't offer that much after looking up the requirements for leveling and all... Really, even as a P2P game you'd have to pay a lot just to feel some fun before playing for months if not a year... More over it's like a casino : if you don't calculate everything and spend quite a while on Web references, you'll end up paying too much for some goal in the skill/knowledge trees and such, if not simply lose money over stuff you'll notice you didn't really need or had played differently "if you knew"... this is not a game, this is a huge money trap building on some dependency/addiction that it'd develop.... Better smoke cigarettes it's cheaper : the ROI is certainly not there, this game is a SCAM!

I didn't do my research nearly well enough, I fell for the hype as advertised on Skallagrim, Lindybeige and so many other channels from people with similar tastes, assuming THEY reviewed the game and did THEIR research... fool me once... It's a very shallow game and very P2W. There are far more fun and more tactical games out there - not sure if browser based, but for the P2W money you'll spend to enjoy your time in this game you can buy several better games on Steam.
Yeah I am $20 in a month after starting, finally up to a level where I could progress only to find out in order to hit these higher level characters, which you need to progress after you reach Hero Level 40, that you need to spend gold, or buy even more packs of Hero energy to swing even more than 1 hit on an enemy at that level, so that you can obtain experience and items to craft gear to continue on with levelling... I don't mind the 20 year old appearance of the game and the strategy involved, but there are far too many people with too much 'coin' on their hands that advance past yo in an instant only to be your enemy and costing you gold or coin to return to health... Bummer, just started making friends there, who get real quiet when I bitch about coin players.. Did you find any other browser based games that you can get buy without coin? Was playing Elvenar but got bored with the linear progression that takes months to advance a single aspect when higher levels... I can see them making a few bucks off the game, but they must really rake it in, Billions I would expect globally... and for such a low level browser game, they really found a niche...
ur invader armor sucks giving people bad advise once ur hero level 60 that armor is useless u will have to make a full new set there way better invader armor out there what if ur hero maxed why would u need hero do armor and the best thing for so is task while wearing so Armor
Your putting to much emphasis on sustained attack. It doesn't need to be maxed in hero skills if you have lvl 7 or 8 sustained attack knowledge 1 and 2 you will have plenty enough. your better off focusing on reduce invader defense, hero offense, then depletion. Increasing the rate of which energy is regenerated is kind of useless once you get to higher levels so would not advance that more than what is required.

But I've found that putting more points on it gives you better hits/gear. Yes but you can't talk invader skill points without talking invader knowledge. They go together you can't talk about one without talking about the other. For example If I can kill a lvl 5 invader in 20 hits I only need a total sustained attack of 20 which means every hit I do will increase damage 15% until it reaches 300% at which point the invader is dead. If I put hero skill points to max out sustained attack and my knowledge sustained attack is combined 15 I will have a total sustained attack of 30 which is 10 more than I need. I could use those 10 points for energy depletion or total energy assuming that hero total offense is already maxed.
In theory you are 100% correct. In practice as I said I've found that putting more points on sustained attack gives you better hits. It's not logical, just an observation. I would have to thoroughly test it to state is a FACT. It's just a hypothesis at this point. I hope I didn't mislead anyone because I wasn't talking about knowledge at all. Only hero skills. Knowledge is a totally different and far more complicated conversation.

If you play on a pc or laptop. install a mouse auto clicker program.

It can go up to 50,000 when you are using the energy items that you buy from packs. You can buy them for gold but they are very expensive.
