Correct, I emailed Cannon earlier and the CEO emailed me back...within the hour! Friggin awesome!
Ive been retired from BC Coastal Falling for over 25 years, but back in the Day, Cannon was my favourite. New light Bars and Saws must be amazing.
Awesome videos! If you ever hear of an old Oregon light bar up for grabs please let me know! Have been wanting to try one for a while now! Thanks
YOUR REALLY RAISING THE BAR AT THE COMPOUND 😉
Same here I ordered 10 bars from them and they were having issues get me my bars and he called me and told me he was sinserly sorry that they were going to be delayed cuz of the covid bs but I thought that was a good Buisness man and there far and fetched these days so thumbs up for cannon bars .
Love your channel! Straight skinny on product which is what I want. To date put WCS 3 point dawgs and WCS bark box on my 462 and love em both…Thank you. Now may have to consider Cannon bar in 28” maybe Santa will be nice to me. Hahaha
Fingers crossed because that bitch is expensive!
If you haven’t already @Tim Torkelson get on Cannon’s list now. They’re booked out through December. All but two employees Cannon left due to covid.
How would the weight compare with a Cannon Duralite Superbar VS Stihl ES Light Bar in a 36"?
Does the tip gauge match the rail gauge on the Cannon? 50 or 50/58?
I bought a 25 inch Sugihara on stihl ms 461. Really leaks oil. Holes seem to line up right with old bar. Maybe a little larger oil hole. What did i do wrong and what do i need to do to fix this oil leakages
I’m thinking that the oil is not leaking from that side. That is the output and usually does not statically leak. The leak usually occurs out of the oil tank vent which is also behind your bad mount. It’s a brass piece with a pin hole.
Did you do a video on the metal protective plate on the bottom of the saw? Thanks for the video and keep up the great work👍. Can't wait to see the other bar videos.
d hamby it’s a video coming up super soon! Thanks for mentioning it!
Just in case you haven’t seen it!

@@TheDurbinCompound, yep left a comment a week ago.
Would love to see these compares to forester premium
I’m not sure if you said or not but which bar is lighter the stihl or Cannon lightweight bars
Lightest bar is the Stihl lightweight.
Thanks 👍🏻
Dollar for dollar the Stihl lightweight bars are the best deal going. And they make them up to 36”.
Thanks appreciate that. How is the groove / channel on stihl bars? Precision or just average?
@@alexpearson8481 precise groove I would say. They’re very high quality.
Go With the cannon light or stihl lightweight bars. They are way worth the money. You will thank me later!
Thanks for the tip.,
Just subbed to your channel ,want to see more on these light bars . Just got a new 462 , 25in ES bar and am looking for a light bar , never ran one before . My dealer has a sthil light just don't know if i want to part with the extra cash or not . Been looking at the Tsumura also , any thoughts ? I'm just a weekend warrior , or a saw nerd as i call myself . Love my saws . Thanks for the vid .
Awesome! Thanks for the sub. The content is coming! I’m just making sure I get a lot of wood through each one!
Wanted to answer the question about the Stihl light bar for you. It is most definitely worth the extra coin. The Stihl light bars are the lightest bars I have tested. Their paint holds up very well and they are not very expensive compared to a lot of the other bar options.
@@TheDurbinCompound Hey thanks for the reply . I did end up going with the 25" sthil lw bar and ended up bring a 500i home too . Just couldn't control myself , ya only live once haha .
I run a 28 Tsumura on 462 and it's the same weight as the stihl light bar. If I had it to do over i would by the stihl bar, only because the paint holds up better for the weekend warrior like myself.
The Tsumura is clear coated and it's starting to get rust around the edges under the clear. Wouldnt happen if I used it more lol. Mainly use my saw for cleanup around the place and a little firewood here and there for recreational purposes.
I got the Tsumura and two chains cheaper than I could have gotten the stihl bar alone. If cost is a factor.
@@danclas5983 I run a 28 and 32 lightweight stihl bar on both of my 500i's. love em. bark boxed one and dual ported the other. lil thirsty but still under 2 tanks of fuel for a good load of Douglas fir. and not lil stuff. I only fall 25" dbh and bigger. I like mine. think I want a cannon bar though so doing research on em.
Great looking ladies you have there!!! I log for a living would you recommend buying the more expensive 20 and 24 inch bars or stick with my oregan bars because I go through 1 bar in each size a month. If it helps I run a 038 magnum and a ms460 magnum. Thanks for such great content!
Well you’re going to pay big bucks for cannon but I think you will get good life out of it for sure. It’s probably worth a try. It will definitely do better than an Oregon bar
@@TheDurbinCompound 10-4 boss thanks. Stay safe and happy cutting!!!
I have a mint 038 magnum 2 as well as an old 066,I bought a 32” inch Cannon superbar last year as a treat for the 066, got a super good deal on it,140$ Canadian so I might try to get a 28” Cannon for the 038. I used to heli log here in British Columbia and we used 5 or 6 foot Cannon bars to rip 8 foot spruce logs that were too heavy to fly so I’ve always had good luck with Cannon bars which are made near Vancouver btw.
Just curious as to how you have to go through that many bars of each size in one month?
I like your new video today you did a good jop buddy
Good night to you guys buddy
How are you doing today buddy
How does the weight compare to the other bars you mentioned?
th-cam.com/video/d9SA3AgvUwo/w-d-xo.html
What he was tryin to say about the cannon bar is that it sets the bar high
Yeah it definitely is top of the line
How do I buy a bar like that?
From a Cannon dealer or call cannon directly
Cannonbarworks.com
Any of the other bars precision ground groove like the Canon ultralite?
Does any of these companies make bars for the Milwaukee battery operated chainsaw are they all professional-grade and they weren't even mess with this stuff will you take care cheers with a beer
I’m sure you can find the bar with the right mount.
@@TheDurbinCompound I didn't know if they did or didn't since you deal with them you would know more than I do how you take care
KONAMAN Studio yeah I’m sure we could find a bar that would fit the saw. There are so many brands out there that would be cool on a Milwaukee. I’d be interested in trying it
What are you thinking by now?
Still love this bar. Still use it all the time. It’s worth the money. I pinched a Stihl lightweight in a tree the other day and I’m glad it wasn’t the cannon. I think I would have gotten sick if I bent a $260 bar.
You make some good videos do you have a sharpening video
I’ve considered it, but honestly no one does it as good as Bucking Billy Ray. I have multiple square ground videos and how it’s done but no hand filing videos.
The Stihl ES Light is the best of the bunch Bar NONE.....
Too much talk whit no action...
