I wonder how often Yugo actully got really old. Its easy to imagine that he died quit often a heroes death at a young age. While it would avoid heartbreak when she dies people can not controll there feelings like that. Yugo cant just decide "Okay it will suck when I outlive here so I should not love here" and then he turns of his love like a switch. Its does not work like that. He loves Amalia and he can not do anythin against that even if he wants it. So since avoiding the heartbreak of outliving here is of the table anyway I think they should go all the way.
