It took 10years for Occupy Parliament to come into fruition. It is a slow and painful process but we will get there thanks to fearless activists like Boni 🙏

CTA has played a key role in bringing to light the stories behind the stories. This is a brilliant channel and ever since it came on air, I have learnt things that I would have never learnt. Makofi!!!

Bonnie's saying we can't be shot on live tv 2yrs ago and they proved us wrong.

We change it to “they can’t shoot 1 million of us”
But while Ruto pretends to be listening, he allows abductions and shooting to continue …

One year later am here trying to express my gratitude to this true Kenyan! Boniface Mwangi and wife Njeri.
It’s such a sad situation that Kenyans have allowed the oppressor to manipulate them to this level of having no right to stand for themselves. Every place someone feels they have an upper hand, they use it to manipulate poor Kenyans. I really commend Boniface for his brave activist operations. I wish we could support him for he stands for the truth. I just watched this series and I can say it’s the best I’ve watched on CTA. I think you’re Wangari Maathai’s son.

8:20 Even in 2024, during Reject Finance Bill, the likes of Gaitho resorted to discrediting the messenger (Boni) rather than the message. They worked hard to discredit Boni again

I went through years of my Kenyan spouse telling me time and time again that in Kenyan you can actually get killed for speaking up and speaking truth to power.
I still can’t quite get my head around that, what I now know to be a fact.
Coming from a country where political murders have never, ever occurred, it is still so unreal ….

Zimeni hii kitu 🔥🔥🔥🔥 This is everything!!! Hesh upon hesh!! First, declining opportunities to be compromised and arm-twisted is an act of boldness, courage and an unwavering commitment to your value system. Secondly, zero line for standing up for your truth is waaaay better than a line of fear, hypocrisy and eventual shame because there's nothing to a line thrown at you by a bogus politician. Thirdly, much as you need a circle, if they bail, you need to keep moving and Bonny has demonstrated this over and over 🔥 That is the power of an incorruptible internal Software. Finally, even though this is NOT the case here, what is the shame in being funded? If I was a foreigner, with a similar value system as Bonny's, I would ABSOLUTELY put my money behind his cause. Absolutely! So this stigmatization around being funded or supported is neither here nor there IMO and I say this fully aware of the negative side where the West funds chaos in Africa 💢

Also in the same breath I wonder how it is that we get fooled so easily as a people. The same guys who have been responsible for stealing and killing are the same ones we think will change this country in the next election. Yenyewe wajinga sisi

here are the reasons boniface mwangi and other activists have blocked me & many others:
    1. we ask them how exactly they intend to bring change without tabling a single policy proposal. if they can use their spaces to discuss problems and then use art to package the problems, why can't they discuss solutions and package solutions?
    2. they say it is not their job to develop solutions/ policy. then whose job is it? politicians? how can a politician benefitting from a broken system be expected to fix that system? what use is it voting for politicians in a broken system that is skewed to favour , fuel & protect their greed?
    3. the problem with problem based activism that is fueled by theatrics is that it steals all the attention from the issue and focuses it on the activist/ heckler.
compare this with solution based activism fueled by ideas/ policy. it focuses the attention on the crowd sourced, crowd funded idea.
because of the attention stealing, media houses focus on interviewing problem based activists. policy based activists are hardly known because they do not have the 'street cred' and police beatings to show.
    4. this country shall be changed by people uniting behind policy changes (eg the way we united behind changing section 2A that gave us multi party politics). this country shall not be changed by people heckling politicians and calling them names. politicians don't even fear hecklers, they fear policy changers. hecklers can't even dent the system that is favouring greed, but policy changers can overhaul it.
    5. interview us policy activists. stop ignoring us. it will give us the platform to unite kenyans behind policy that will result in structural changes that will guarantee kenya works for every kenyan regardless of political affiliation.
    get me on twitter @DehMao
