Hi Gayle I have just discovered you after many hours of searching for a good craft channel that suits me. There are so many good ones out there but I’ve been drawn towards you. I had a stroke a while back and decided to pick up my love of crafting again for therapeutic reasons. I’m just loving all the little groups of papers and fabric etc, getting them ready and making a stash before I journal. I am going to start with a garden journal as I’m a novice and it might help me keep track of my seeds and planting times. So thank you. Your knowledge is inspirational. 😂
I’m so glad you are enjoying my channel! Yes, crafting is such good therapy! When I had shoulder surgery, I jumped right back into crafting (probably sooner than I should have! Lol!) and I really believe that along with PT is why I healed so quickly and thoroughly. I’m excited that you are doing a garden journal!! I think if you search Gayle Agostinelli Garden Journal, some videos will come up that might give you some ideas to incorporate if you like. Again, welcome to my channel! I’m so glad you’re here! ❤️
Good morning. I hope you are feeling better . I watch you every time you post a video. So relaxing and I love your work. Continue working your magic for us to see and enjoy.
Gayle, I just have to say thank you for your wonderful video. I love how you are always thinking of us, your sunbird. Jimmy Joe is quite the boy I must say. I always wanted a pet but a last it’s too late for me. So enjoy 😊 all that Jimmy Joe brings to you and Mike. Have a great day doing whatever you want. God is good to give us this new day. I am watching you making snippets and wonder if one of them will fine it’s way to me. So excited to receive my treasures from you. Your friend Cindy from a small town in Northern Ontario Canada 🇨🇦 ❤️❤️❤️
These are gorgeous! I did a few while watching but couldn’t keep up with you! I will have to play it again and follow along after I gather the supplies I need!
Hi Gayle!! Love the fabric clusters you made today!! I especially love the stamped pieces....they are just so pretty!! I always enjoy spending time with you!! Take Care and TFS!! Hugs, Liz:)
this reminds me so much of our kitty Millie when she was a baby. I was looking all over for my glasses and couldn't find them in any of the usual places. Later I noticed them on the floor by my rollie cart in my craft room. I picked them up and she had chewed to shreds the plastic part that goes behind my ears!! She somehow developed a tremendous taste for any kind of plastic wiring and after losing wiring to a printer, a keyboard, the hdmi connection to the tv and the Ipad charger, we had to cover every kind of wire with plastic tubing. I was glad she didn't get electrocuted and thankfully she's grown out of the wire fetish. Now as an old lady, she just loves cellophane bags
Love these! I think I’ll get out some stamps and stamp some muslin first! Love that! Those would be fun to hand stitch too I think! Thank you for sharing!
Love these clusters! Such fun! When my dog was a pup, she would chew on my furniture. Your lucky it’s just scissors. Love these stories! These animals are lucky we love them! Lol! Thanks for sharing!
Hi Gayle. Love your Jimmy Joe stories. I am waiting for laundry to dry before I go to bed and am enjoying this video while I wait. I think I will try to make some clusters like this. Thank you for all your videos. They are a big part of my life. PS, I like your no iron method of dealing with fabric. LOL
I’m one of your quieter subbies, but want you to know I watch you regularly and am very inspired by your work. (I often craft along while watching your videos). Thank you for everything 💐
Gayle I really love these cluster especially hake you placed fabric/lace together! The sewing around the piece really makes it perfect! I have this video on my list to do! I’m so glad this video came my way! thank you so much! You do amazing work!
Enjoyed watching you make your fabric clusters. I love making them too. Great way for us to use our scraps of materials.Sometimes I leave some of the threads hanging off, I think it adds a little somethings extra to them.
Fabric clusters are so fun to make. All yours turned out so lovely. You have so many fun and pretty fabrics and laces in which to work with. We had a maltese named Max that we lost unexpectedly almost 2 years ago, He was a sweetheart and I still miss him. Love all the Jimmy Joe stories thanks for sharing. My husband is an early bird too and I am the stay up late one. I enjoy watching your videos and try to watch everyday,
That was so much fun!! Love the clusters and am amazed how quickly you put together each little masterpiece. Very thankful for my daily visits with you!
Enjoyed watching and listening this morning while the house was quiet and I dug thru some bins and bags for bits to make clusters. I really should sort and arrange supplies better 😁 I enjoy watching you work, and you always make lovely things! I rarely comment, but do pop in and relax a while. 🤗
Hi Gayle! I am loving watching you put these together. You have such a knack for piecing them together in such a way that is so pleasing to the eye. Be well!
I enjoyed crafting along with you, love all this different fabric's you have. We had a dog years ago that would chew up everything, my In-Law's ended up taking the dog because I had my first child and the dog would jump up on me and the baby and we got scared. "Crazy Dog" Thanks for the video Gayle and hope your having a awesome weekend.
Oh I just love fabric clusters! The color choices were spot on. I am so excited because I was FINALLY early enough to get one of your fabric flips offers! I can hardly wait to see what they look like 😊🥰 . Your poor scissors 😩...our Golden Retriever puppy managed to find and mangle two mouth retainers of our children...not at the same time...an expensive snack.😩
Hi Gayle. Love your videos. I use my flat iron to smooth paper, sari silk, folds in fabric, anything I want smoothed a little, but still keep the vintage character.
This was really fun to watch! I love how your clusters came out and seeing all the pretty fabrics and fibers you combined was very inspirational! Thanks for sharing!
You can quick change your thread on your machine by cutting the thread on your machine at the old spool. Put on the new spool and tie the thread from the old spool that is still thread in the machine to the new spool of thread using a small square knot. Then grasp the old thread at your needle and pull the old thread out of the machine. This will automatically thread your machine with the new thread. When your new thread reaches your needle. Clip the two threads apart and thread your new thread thru the needle. Be sure your foot control level is up when you do this procedure. Change your bobbin and you are ready to go. Just a tip I got a long time ago.
Good morning sweet Gayle! I need to do clusters. Tried once thought they look terrible! Lol maybe I shall try again. Have a fabulous Friday! Hugs dear friend! Xoxo
You make putting together these fabric clusters look so easy! So many beautiful and inspiring ideas! 🥰 I need to make a date in my creative studio.😉 Thanks Gayle!
Really enjoyed this Gayle. My sewing machine has been out of action for a while but with hubby off work because of COVID he spent the afternoon in my craft room fixing it. Yaaay. I still can’t do straight stitching as apparently it’s ‘stripped a gear’ lol. Still it was just a cheaply I use for crafting, I don’t sew anything else. So todays project is stamping on fabric and making clusters and maybe making some pockets if I get time. Have to pick up medication and do a little grocery shop but who knows how long it will take with you know who in tow.😆 Thanks for your time and inspiration, love spending time with you. 💕💕💐💐💐👋🏻 from Australia.
What a great idea to use you stash of fabric. The beautiful thing about your stash is the variety of it; it comes from all different parts of the US and you might have some foreign too. It was such an inspirational video Gayle! Oh, JJ is getting naughty, lol... I am glad he didn't hurt himself.
I have an eleven year old little Shih Tzu named Sweetie. She is only 8 pounds. She's been blind for 3 years and lost an eye to glaucoma in March. She had to wear the cone of shame. She bumped into everything! She has been and continues to be a loyal companion. They are such a lovable breed. Thanks for sharing more great ideas. As always, I learned something new.
Hi and hugs Gayle :-) your fabric clusters are gorgeous! oh that Jimmy Joe!! what a stinker! we had a German Shepherd many years ago that got a photo album off the coffee table when we were gone and he seemed to "target" specific photos-a picture of a Thanksgiving dinner, a few of hubby, etc. It was probably random, but felt kinda creepy! glad you had a nice lunch with your friend and will be getting your glasses fixed! tyfs :-)
Thanks for another great video. I feel your pain on the ruined scissors as our new little lab thinks that my craft items are just for him. We also have Shih tzus and love them to pieces. They are such sweet little dogs and are a lot calmer than the big ones for sure, but I just love all dogs💖 I enjoyed the crafting with you and look forward to the next one. Take care sweet lady🌹
So relaxing to watch you make these snippets. I didn't want the video to end! Maybe next year, if things get back to normal (what's normal?) you could have a contest or random drawing, for the winner to craft a day with you ( at their expence) I have never been to Montana, but if I won, I would hope a plane in a heartbeat!! Hugs from your Texas friend, Brenda
Thank for sharing Gayle - I have always wanted to try this but was not too sure how to put them together. We love your videos and try to buy from you every time we see something new go up even if it is just diggies
Oh those fabric clusters are so fun! I need to make some! I'm a quilter so I have plenty of fabric but darn I might have to order some of that wonderful Tim Holtz fabric. What's a little more, right? As always, thanks for keeping me company in my craft room, I enjoy your videos so much.
Those are just darling. I love them all espically the gold with thesari silk. I have some yard sale stamps and lots of plain fabrics and lace from a table cloth that would look fantastic in these. I'll have to make some. I see some Christmas ones coming off my design table.
Loved your video. If my stamp pad isn’t juicy enough. IfI don’t have ink to refill it; instead of tossing it, I add a tad bit of water. It extends its life a lot. I adored these I need to try this out I have so much fabric and lace galore.
Hi Gayle been dying to write to you love all your Videos love that you show other people Etsy shops goes to show how kind you are I’m Learning so much from you feels like I know you keep sharing anyways! X
Good morning Gayle 🤗 Oh no your scissors! Whew...thank goodness he didn’t destroy your fussy cutting 🤣🤣. I didn’t know your girls went to massage therapy school. I’ve been a massage therapist for over 30 years. Next time you do a meetup in Denver I’ll bring my table up 😁
fun video Gayle, I was stamping on a fragment of old pillow case and tearing them out as I was watching....nice to craft along with someone! Now I hope bumping into us like that didnt give you a headache! lol. So, how ARE you after attacking the garden?! Not to sore I hope?! Stay well, hugs :)
You could get inexpensive flowers from Dollar Tree or $ Store take them apart and used the bigger pearly under your buttons here. You could takeout one step further and put glitter in the centers like she does and leave the buttons off
Gayle, I am so bad at sewing on buttons so... I now stitch the buttons as if they were on the fabric and then glue them down with FabriFix. Done in a jiffy and I can stitch up lots of buttons with my lap work.
Gayle, I read my message to you and grammar correct changed subbies to sunbirds. Too funny 😂 Your friend Cindy from a small town in Northern Ontario Canada 🇨🇦 ❤️❤️❤️
