Do you vacuum seal the food and then put it back in the refrigerator and the vacuum seal extends the time that the food stays fresh in the refrigerator or do you vacuum seal the food and then freeze it?
It was primarily designed so you could vacuum fresh seal the food you purchased in bulk but put into portions, and not have it become freezer burnt. Ziplock bags let to much air in. Especially if you're saving it for a longer period of time.
