Hey!! I hope you are doing great!! I'm uploading the video Regarding the Dutch Roll!! Make sure you watch the whiteboard part at the end to get a full undestanding of the topic! Have a great day
Hello Captain, I have some questions for you: 1) If I brake in the 737-800 while the Autobrake is on, will this override the system? The same goes for the antiskid, If I apply too much brakes can I actually lock the wheels or the Antiskid is always active? 2)During an aborted take off while selecting the RTO, if the speed is above 80 kts, do I have to brake manually or the Autobrake takes care of the braking? And what about a Rejected Take Off when the speed is below 80 kts?
Hey, I hope you doing great! 1.If you brake manually more than the autobrake system then you will override the autobrake. The Antiskid is there even if you brake manually. 2. low GROUND speeds the autobrake on RTO won't work. So if you reject at low GROUND speed you need to brake manually. High Ground Speed the Autobrake does the job.
Hey, thanks for watching!! Yes in the Boeing 737 if the Anti-skid is inop the Autobrake is inop, since you won't have the locked wheel protection. I wish you a great day!
When you have the autobrakes set to say 2 or 3, and you get down to a specific ground speed, does the autobrake system turn off to let you taxi, or does the pilot have to turn the autobrake system off in order to be able to taxi?
Great Video! In the simulator (XPlane 11) I noticed that the autobrake will cause the airplane to brake to a halt, but not move once it's fully stopped when you apply thrust to keep taxiing. Does that happen in real life where you have to intervene somehow to release the brakes in order to proceed taxiing or does it sense thrust power once you apply it to resume exit of runway and release itself?
Thanks for watching!!👍 in real life you should disconnect the Autobtake once your Ground speed is below 60kt. You disconnect the Autobtake by applying an higher brake pressure(using the pedals), by retracting the speed brakes or by selecting the Autobtake selector to off.. 👍
Hey!! Many thanks for your great support! I have invested already money on a microphone thanks to a donation from a Member of the PILOTCLIMB community! I appreciate your support! I wish you a great day👍
Great video! Very educational. Many thanks, Captain

Thank you for this info. Ive learned alot
You are very welcome!
@@PILOTCLIMB I kept wondering why I was sometimes sliding all over the place. NOW almost perfect landings
Hi captain please I would like to know why we don’t use ATM assumed temperature when the antiskid is INOP thank you very much for your help.
You are more than welcome.. I'll make a video about the ATM soon..
Thanks and Have a nice weekend Capt Gabriele... 👍👌👍
You are welcome!! Thanks for watching and the comment ! Have a nice weekend 👍
as usual informative video captain.... i request u to make a video on dutch roll and yaw dampers ? im waiting for it ...
Hey, many thanks for watching and the comment!! I will make a content about that soon.. 👍

what's a difference between RTO and MAX setting? is any difference in breaking pressure?
It should be the same as far as I'm aware, the difference is in the way the autobrake system starts working..

@@PILOTCLIMB Much obliged captain 😊
Love it 👍👍👍
Thanks for watching! Glad you liked the video 👍
Antiskid-INOP does it necessarily imply autobrakes INOP?

Hey, I hope you are doing great! After landing the pilot will disconnect the Autobrake👍

@@PILOTCLIMB Formidable! Thanks! Considering I wouldn't touch the autobrake knob upon full braking, now it makes full sense.
Cool!! in real life the preferred method to disconnect the AB is to apply brake pressure with the pedals..
Microphone is waiting to be shipped ... ;-)
