For those interested, this whole fangame is a pretty big colab project. All midbosses are just some of the most fansend designs. For example the midbosses at 3:58 as well as this stage's theme are from Lenk64/Miki Hiroyuki of Nansei/Midnight fame.
I can't speak on the boss's non-spells, but the spell cards were direct references to the final bosses of the 1st 4 IDO Touhou fan games: Iesua from The Last Comer, Mitama from Mystical Power Plant, Momohime from Riverbed Soul Saver, and Fuma from Book of Star Mythology. Cool references!
I also actually thought this was an official game right at the start till I read the description, pretty good fangame, always good to see some new formations/attacks and spells.

Post-demo Japanese localizer here, the game has 18 OCs already in the demo, and it's about to be almost doubled in the full game.
