we all knew itnw would be first… the fact that they debuted with one of their hardest chores and one of the best songs ever… insane
I truly believe SM was challenging them with that one. They were like "If you can hit those notes while doing that choreo we'll never ever give you choreo that hard again"

Girls Generation got my respect because they had one of the hardest debuts ever, all live, no makeup and with such a hard choreography and yet they had amazing stage presence and energy.

Seeing as ITNW being the hardest dance despite being their debut is just 😭😭. The girls really work hard and they deserved all the recognition!!
ITNW still remains as THE example for girl groups till this day and I doubt it would stop anytime soon
31:00 Perhaps that's why it's customary for aspiring female idols to study SNSD choreos~ I remember a lot of female idols said that they were made to study it in their respective academies and agencies.

Wow... Seeing all of those songs go by in succession... Makes you think how long they have been around. From their debut that still had a bit of that 90s sound, to the super poppy and electronic 2000s sound, all the way to their latest release in the middle of 4th gen kpop!!!

SNSD is my all time favorite group so seeing it back in a lot of youtube channels feels my heart with joy ! I also think you should be applauded for doing it with an extra harder step by switching from member to member instead of only covering one member. This is definitely not an easy feat and that's something to be mentioned !
OMG! This makes me so happy! Girls' Generation is my favorite K-Pop girl group and they were the big reason I got into K-Pop! Thank you for covering their dances.
This takes dedication. I learned a good portion of these years ago. Genie has always been one of my fav choreos. The ranking is pretty spot on.

Damn you only spent less than one hour to learn all these choreographies 😭 I’m pretty sure it would have taken me DAYS/MONTHS to dance perfectly to even one of their songs 🥹 You’re amazing for real. Honestly I think your dance skills surpassed even some of the trainees on kpop audition shows!
Bruh we have IDENTICAL minds. I just decided to do this in honor of BP's comeback, finished writing out my weekly schedule to learn each dance in time for their concert, and then I see you post this for GG ! Of course, it's going to take me a LOT longer than you take to learn
i personally did a full group dance cover of itnw when i was just a beginner in k-pop dance, and till now i still think it’s one of the most tiring songs to dance. the moves by themselves are tiring enough but the song itself was so long and having to do the chorus three times was crazy.. i really admire snsd for debuting with this song AND still be able to sing it live. this was such a fun video to watch!!
This video made me understand better how much Girls' Generation choreographies are really conceived from the global group structure point of view. It's a real genius assembling and there is a reason why their dances are so mesmerizing to watch.
It's not the same when it's alone. It's not the case for many groups. A lot of times the dance can be as much interesting to watch on one person.

I cant believe she is doing this for educating us and ranking dances, she is so amazing ❤ and she is not even here to brag about how incredibly talented she is! (and these legs are so long haha I noticed in Genie especially. I guess the outfits and choreography were made for that even for GG) 👏👏

Fun fact: the choreography for the chorus of The Boys makes it look like they are forming the letter “G” (the part with the Girls’ Generation make you feel the heat)
28:43 “this dance literally has no breaks.” THIS!!! not to mention at that time, snsd was asked/required to jump around to go back to their potition after they sing their lines. it literally no breaks for them. the choreography also seems about energy to makes it looks good. no wonder almost if not all trainees dance to this song. itnw probably not the hardest dance of kpop out there, but it is definitely one of the hardest.

2. Galaxy Supernova

etc.
i am contemplating whether to learn the choreo of itnw or forever 1 but here you are learning 20 of snsd's songs. i must say I admire your dedication~
The more time you spend on the dances they also looked better. I think "easy" dances can look sloppy quickly, making them also pretty hard to do well!
So I mean, even though it took longer to learn, there was probably also more attention to the execution of the moves and maybe more enjoyable because there harder? Making them look better ;)
The difficulty of ITNW goes on another level when you try to dance this while holding a mic, the dance would require you to switch from right to left to emphasize a move. mygoodness
many of their dances are focused on the group formation, so wasn't too surprised, but loving you went the extra mile with heels

I feel like Japanese songs would be harder to do, because they don't have dance practices... but SNSD had a ton of Japanese tours and/or concerts, so there's probably some fancam out there somewhere for most singles!

A good indicator of taste (and sometimes kpop age 😅) "Girls generation got me into kpop" . This made me realize that while I was a big GG fan as a kid, I really only watched the performances of my favorites a lot, lol. My favs being I got a boy, Gee, Oh!, Genie, run devil run, and The boys,, in that order. I remember trying really hard to get Sunny's (my forever gg bias) parts in I got a boy and Gee but im not that good at choreographed dance. Thank you for doing this! Would love to see you do f(x)!
ITNW is an incredibly hard dance. I also think it's notable that several of the hardest ranked dances came in during their later years like You Think and Holiday when antis kept saying they should retire.

WOW! Thank you so much for your dedication to making this video! It was so fun to watch! SNSD was also the group to get me into kpop back in 2009! To this day, the only kpop dances I’ve learned front to back is Gee and Genie and those took months to learn (I’m terrible at both dancing and picking up choreography!).

One of their most famous is Nee (from one of their best albums period). I remember watching the PV back in 2011 and the part where the footwork kicks in during the second chorus... I think I would twist my ankle if I ever attempted it.😓 Its still so memorizing though.
@@galaxy_kitten95 I have been a HUGE fan of theirs since I was 20 years old back in 2015! Laser Beam was my first song, then Spring of Life and so forth. I know so many of their choreographies and songs it's INSANE! I love the foot work and how happy A~Chan looks doing it! I'm 27 now and they're my ultimate group! I hope she covers their choreographies.

the choreo is already hard itself, how much more if you're dancing with other people in the room, memorizing the blockings, transition, and formations. Through this video, I appreciated Girls Generation more for their hardwork through the years.
