The world is so cute!! Even with the challenge, I don’t feel as if I’m missing anything from your usual content!!! Always nice seeing your videos when I get on TH-cam!!
Yes! I'm really enjoying Fwhip - the early years. Been waiting for this next episode. Thanks for the great content and funny commentary. I appreciate what you're doing.
For the next villagers, masons seem super ideal for one simple reason; more pretty blocks, most of which work just perfectly for the solar punk Mediterranean theme. Bricks, clay, terracotta, glazed terracotta, polished stones, even quartz blocks and quartz pillars at master tier.
If you want to use copper in your buildings and need wax to lock them in a certain state, there’s an easy way to get bees: just bonemeal an oak or birch tree surrounded by flowers to spawn in a bees nest.
Love the vids! Why not just have endless ocean around your island? I feel like it would make it much more immersive and realistic. Much love man, Happy holidays!
Great video, thanks for making it. I am curious to see how the experimental features is going to effect librarians for you and what kinds of enchanted books can you get from your jungle villagers, but whatever villager type you pick next will still be fun to see what you choose to build. I really like this new spin-off hardcore series, best of luck with both hardcore worlds.
Loving the new start! Fwhip please do the interiors as you go, it won’t feel so overwhelming since you only have a few buildings and it doesn’t have to be fancy but would be a nice way to deviate from the regular series ❤️
Something you can do is once you complete some hard challenge in the Nether, you unlock the ability to be a seafaring being; with this, you unlock the ability to traverse only islands in the ocean. Instead of a world map focused from land, you only see the world from the ocean. Even later, your unlock can be to traverse up the rivers of the world.
For the castle, since you are going for a mediterranean style, a villa attached to the castle would be really cool! Also would recommend the Byzantine style for the castle :)
Composters acutally reduce the lag most, as they have - effectively - one slot that is checked, this means that the hoppers are not checking for loose items in the vincinity. Enjoyed the video.
Ok so i know you're going to be doing a volcano in this world, but I still think you should cover up the Drowned Farm in your main world with a volcano, it would explain why there's a Jungle between the farm and Papyrus, and you could even build a Greco-Roman style town around it, volcanic ash was a key ingredient in Roman Concrete.
Great episode, as always. I once played an island game where I didn't see any wandering traders forever. Then I found over twenty of them all stuck in one place down in my mines at the bottom of the world. I'm not saying that is happening here, but weird things do happen in Minecraft.
I am torn between suggesting cartographers because a map to a trial chamber would provide tuff and copper for days or suggesting masons because they would open up terra cotta.
Now that you have food for the village sorted, may be time to consider the rest of the inferstructer, and by that I mean production. Make a workshop, styled in theme 1st floor work second housing, with a mix of smiths inside.
i had a dream that at the end of this series when he was showing off the completed build and everything, fWhip went "oh btw this is in my hardcore world, surprise island kingdom! merry christmas!" and i know it's not possible because of the day count discrepancy (and why would he lie about that at the start anyways) but still. it was a cool dream regardless
27:36 Unless it's been updated recently, I believe that's only a thing with containers? Something like a composter (which only has one slot) or a decorated pot (same as composter last I heard) would be best for lag prevention.
I didn't really get into the first hardcore world, but you started this one, and it jumpstarted my inspiration to try improving my building/terraforming! I'm so happy for another episode, I love your energy in your videos! I do have a question for you Fwhip, if someone wants to improve their building prowess and landscaping, besides just a creative world for experimenting, what are some minecraft exercises one could do to help improve?
Be cool if once all your goals are accomplished on this island, you move over to the next land mass, set new goals, and have an entirely different design style
I'm curios about your plans for the nether and the end, cause theis challenges is not leaving the island so does other dimensions count? 🤔 Please let us know Love from Sri Lanka❤❤❤
nether is okay since I can access it here, no idea where the end stronghold is so might not be able to access it if it isn't on the island or surrounding ocean!
not a profession, exactly, but perhaps in the future you can build a large wall around what you would consider the outskirts of the city. lorewise to keep out the bad mobs and enemy raiders. Practicality-wise to keep the villagers from wandering too far. Also, the next time you get an illager raiding party, you should set it up so one of them is trapped in a jailhouse/cage. because by keeping one locked up, it prevents new raids from showing up at your base/village if you happen to get bad omen and come back home accidentally, and keeping any iron golems that spawn from killing it.
Lol, for the guy sneaking carrots on his farm, remove all the crops so he plants what he has in his inventory, should clear it up faster :) Mh, for a second profession....mason maybe? Would give you access to quartz, bricks etc for building.
Maybe get a cartographer? They have a good chance to sell you a map for a trial chamber. You are bound to have one somewhere around the island area. All assuming you play in 1.21+? Also, with experimental villager trading a jungle librarian is guaranteed to give you Unbreaking II at Master level and I believe any Feather Falling level? I don’t remember the other two book trades they can have. You can pretty easily get plains villagers to expand on the selection if you move a few over to the forest biome or just breed them over the ocean.
Ok, maybe a stupid idea, but what if you put button activated iron doors on the walls to the auto farm fields to give the illusion that the farmers can leave the field?
I enjoy what Fwhip is doing but, I wonder if he could do this in his main hard-core world. The exp i don't know how he'd get it to zero but I do t think that matters too much. He'd just find some remote spot to "start over" put things in ender chest and destroy it then start from scratch. End goal might be getting an ender chest or something. But I see it being any issue if he's trying to continue in his HC world
When you said farmers turn wheat straight into bread is that a new thing or always been around? Feeling like that might be the one minecraft fact i don't know about.
I started up a new world and my base was next to a ravine and the wandering trader kept falling to his death. I discovered (when I went over to his llama who were at the edge of the ravine) that the llamas would shove anyone near the edge over to their death... (I had to cover the ravine to get a live trader.)
Thanks for checking out today's episode on the island!! What do you think??
✨iconic✨
GREAT GREAT
love the series!
Awesome, can't wait for that volcano. Will it be better than GoodTimesWithScar?
Could you also make a pirates cove on the part of the island that you didn't circle? 🙏 🙏
I LOVE the idea of the vibe being solarpunk, I love this series so much as a breather between hardcore world episodes.
Maybe it's not the most useful villager profession, but if you want to go with the island vibe, I think it would make sense to have fishermen.
string duper+ fisherman = money
Agreed fishermen fit vibe of everything
Sat down on a bench in the middle of Disneyland to watch fWhip… I don’t have a problem
HAVE FUN AT DISNEYLAND
The world is so cute!! Even with the challenge, I don’t feel as if I’m missing anything from your usual content!!! Always nice seeing your videos when I get on TH-cam!!
I really like the open concept for the farmers. Very creative and still super useful.
some libraians would be cool. you could put them by the water in a light house maybe.
Yes! I'm really enjoying Fwhip - the early years. Been waiting for this next episode. Thanks for the great content and funny commentary. I appreciate what you're doing.
Your builds are really helpful to get inspiration as I am also trying to build in a jungle biome currently. I’m excited for the next episode!
loveee your island series!! it’s so nice to watch you start fresh, even tho your hardcore world is awesome too
00:30 for tbe part you didnt circle could you make a pirates cove please? 🙏 🙏
For your next villager profession, do a bunch of butchers, and make their base a fast food restaurant.
great idea 👍
Wouldn't really fit with the overall theme though 😬
Having butchers is a great idea, but the theme is medieval/solarpunk, so it would be kinda out of place
@@oversecus833 But they already have hamburger outfits, like fwhip said
Yaayyy love this series!
Reminder that furnace minecarts exist to help move villagers etc.
19:09
Don’t cover that hole, because your zomie farm is down there.
i honestly think it would be realy funny if you made a replica of the thumbnail island close offshore
You give me so much inspiration! I have been in a minecraft slump for the last few weeks, and now I want to build up an island!

It’s a lot of fun watching you play early Minecraft. Love the episode.

Wow. This looks amazing. Thanks for the awesome info. 😊
Glad to be early❤❤❤
I always wait for a new episode of this series!
Looking good so far. I hope you will be planting the Jungle trees to help make your Jungle Island look like a jungle Island again.
Manifesting a spruce selling wandering trader
I think masons would be good for the next set of villagers, gives you lots of block options.
Great video!
This is, like, the perfect little place so far. Merry Christmas everyone!
I'm thinking that the "Fungle" might not be the best pun, but I still love it
I'm excited for more
I am torn between suggesting cartographers because a map to a trial chamber would provide tuff and copper for days or suggesting masons because they would open up terra cotta.
Librarians or smiths. I think having a few bells around might help the wandering traders to home in on your base
Sooooo crazy seeing those villagers walk that way
You are the best fwip!!!!!!
highly recommend using the bamboo planks/logs in some builds i love the way it looks especially in a jungle town
About freaking time 😂
Now that you have food for the village sorted, may be time to consider the rest of the inferstructer, and by that I mean production. Make a workshop, styled in theme 1st floor work second housing, with a mix of smiths inside.
Love the island series and I think it should be the armors and weapons Smith villagesr

7:08 the feds took his weed💀
@@EGETI 💀😂
@00:30 for the part you didn't circle, could make an island prison or a pirate cove like a little shanty town.
Hey fWhip! If you're struggling with inventory space, bundles are your best friend! I'm assuming someone as amazing as you knows how they work. :3
"darker and brown foundation" fwihp i feel attacked
Loving this series - be careful your new villagers don't get attacked by pillagers though!
27:36 Unless it's been updated recently, I believe that's only a thing with containers? Something like a composter (which only has one slot) or a decorated pot (same as composter last I heard) would be best for lag prevention.
A harbor, with a lighthouse for some cartographers, and the fishermen out on the dock!
Oh yeah the beginning of farmer Fwhip’s crop field empire starts now

I think you should be able to allowed to be able to sit in a boat and go to other Islands as long as you don't get off the boat
Oh let’s go 🐻🌸

you can use fortune on a pickaxe to get more crops btw!

26:00 you missed a block under the beds in that shack
The village really has a Borrasca situation with where the villagers come from
Davy Jones rules, You can't touch the land that isn't Your island so You're forever water bound. and need a water bucket to stand in i guess
I love the idea of using a bucket to move around other islands lol

make an auto sheep farm they are very good profit
0:28 How do you have this top view map kinda thing? Is this a mod or a website? I am looking for something like this but i can't find anything
hoppers have arrows now?... 🤯
Definitely either weapons or armor.
I think something might have happened to the wandering trader spawning because I haven't seen one in my world either.
we NEED tree house villages tho
You walk on water at 4:51?
27:50 u can call it a granary.
One hour gang
Fwhip remember to put some copper rods on top of you villager
(Pls everyone like my comment so Fwhip can see it)
where that hole is to get to ur villager breeder you should build some miny version of a dwarven mines to make it less ugly/ddangerous
Hiii
Build a church for a few clerics.
