Totally agree! This guy deserves mad respect. There are just way too many YT videos of gear reviews and not enough people actually using them to their full potential.
@@reilinjoey Loved it and will be using this as reference for my first travel video. Hope the algorithm helps you out with many more subs. Also sorry for the late response dude, TH-cam didn't notify me.
Wow man, this was hands down one of the best cinematic travel films I've seen in a while, really cool to see the process of how you made it. Can't wait to see what you create next!
Holy shit this is without a doubt, THE BEST looking and feeling footage i've seen on youtube in 10 years, your skills are insane and your color grading is SO GOOD. Please make more videos, i think everyone would like to learn from you and your process. Good stuff !
This was an absolute masterclass. Just editing my first travel film and this helped me so much :) Massive thanks! And the outcome of the Marcoco film - just WOW! Keep on doing this amazing stuff, Reilin :)
Thank you for not skimping on the details of your process, there’s so much value in this video. We need more of this generosity on youtube. And you being so young and this thoughtful already at the creative choices you make and delivering a quality that justifies the effort is really impressive. I love what you did with the music deconstruction and using sound effects to match the changes. I love colors, we’d love to buy this as a LUT or an effect in FCPX including the rgb split, it’s very subtle but the result was 🔥. Glad Sony found you👏🏻 😊
Amazing work. I would actually pay for more of this! Such as in-depth breakdown of your edit process. Speed ramps, transitions, sound design. Showing how you turn basic clips to magic :D Not theory but actually putting it into practise
My goodness bro - it's been a while since I've commented on a video. You've just dropped so much value and knowledge in this BTS episode and transported me into what can only be described as the essence of the creative process. Thank you. I currently work for a lot of mid-end clients as a filmmaker and photographer besides my studies and I hope to release a film that reaches the height of your craft in the future! Subscribed and keep up the awesome work!!
Thanks a lot for this. Was wondering what made those fancy shots you see in travel edits look so different from what mere mortals like me shoot, turns out it's quite a lot of small and big details that contribute to the final look. This video helped to explain it
This is pure excellence with the education of "the how" the results are amazing and I am here to say... I can't wait to see your channel explode !! It's coming and I am here for it. Super great stuff here ! TH-cam NEEDS MORE OF THIS!!! Just Beautiful
Hot topic at the moment is people wondering about ZV-E1 overheating. Given how and where you filmed, this seems like something you can touch on, whether it was an issue or not really.
Good point! The reason I didn't touch on it, is because I literally had zero issues with overheating. Even when shooting in 30 degrees celsius at 50fps, I didn't get an overheating warning a single time... 🙏🏼
dude you're unbelieveably good. i tought that i have the talent, but now my day is ruined edit: btw what's that secret sauce in color? that is exactly the thing that gives a whole new universe to the whole video
Exactly the kind of video I've been looking for. It's tough to just watch a travel video and understand the why behind the shots, what the planning was, the editing process, etc. Thank you for this, as I'm trying to learn to make better videos!
It's been a while since I've watched a full video and was shocked it was over. Super excited for you and this project and I sincerely hope you get to do more of this!
Dude your attention to detail is insane. Some things I saw but couldn't tell what you did so I had to slow it down frame by frame to tell. I appreciate the work you put in, you can really feel the passion!
@@Kekous Looks like a green tint and added contrast in that one particular horse riding shot. No master of their craft should ever spill all the beans 😁
This was awesome. Love how you shoot a-roll, how the upcoming shot was taken and with what, then into b-roll example. This was a very easy video to watch with no temptations to click off. Really great.
As someone trying to improve my content and story telling, this was a game changer. The amount of time and passion you put into your work is inspiring.. and it shows. Thanks for putting this together and I'm eager to see what else you have in store for us! 🙌

Great video and tips, I actually returned the ZV-E1 and got the Fx3 I couldn’t handle the overheating even with a fan, at the same time can’t complain about the quality of the video coming out
Your videos are 🔥🔥🔥 and the break down of those videos are even more interesting as it shows how much time and effort you put in to make those videos look so beautiful… thanks a lot of inspiring 😇
How do you ask people for permission to film them? And how do you arrange a shot with a horse and a quad, or does something like that happen by chance?
