    Brilliant. The first part was exactly what I was struggling with after a windy shoot out at the coast. I sort of managed it but in a much more complicated way.

    Another great insight. I've done this before without using smart objects but now better understand why / when I should consider using smart objects in my workflow. Thanks for sharing!

    Excellent. Thank you Sean for providing this video on youtube. Does your new 'Smart Objects' course go into the exposure blending as shown in this video more in depth?

    • @SeanBagshaw

      Thanks! Yes, it does, John. I believe there are 5 chapters showing different variations on this same idea.

    Great concept. THe sprite I think the land is showing behind it is a tad darker. However the image is super.

      Definitely would continue to tweak the masking and the layer adjustments to get everything to blend imperceptibly.

    A totally unrelated question. Can you explain the difference in Orton and Smart Orton on TK7? When would you use one versus the other?

    • @SeanBagshaw
      @SeanBagshaw  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      They are just variations on a similar method. The main difference is that Smart Orton uses a smart object and adjustment layers so you have the ability to fine-tune the blur, contrast and exposure and the other one does not. The smart Orton also applies some clarity to help bring back blurred detail, and this is also adjustable.
