- Repeat after me: Calamity randomizer isn't real, and it can't hurt us. Masochist mode randomizer is next and maybe some other special randomizers if I can get them working. All hail our new overlords of chaos, terror, and other negative emotions. Let me know what your favorite item or enemy name was in the comments like last time, since I probably missed nearly all of them due to repeatedly being obliterated.
The mod used is "The Terraria Randomizer" mod on TModloader.

the difference between a game where the goal is to get items vs. a game where the goal is to kill bosses becomes very clear in these scenarios
SUPER EASY, BARELY AN INCONVENIENCE
@@OccyDaBoss Try randomising both loot tables and crafting recipes. It could take you ages to get something as simple as a pickaxe or a crafting table. Without those, you are locked out of many items, then add to that the fact you basically need to relearn the entire game as you can't rely on memory to tell you what give you what.
Sure, it gets much easier after a while, but reaching that point isn't easy.

Paradox games randomized worlds: Confusing with world being put on its head, you have to lelearn every country to get the full "history" and be able to continue
Team Fortress 2 randomizer: Chaos is spewing all over the corners, there is no time for strategy since you don't know what you're up to, you have to abandon your gut feelings, since even the harmless Medic can shoot a rocket out of nowhere
Terraria randomizer: God is dead, you have noone to pray to.

Ok I'm now certain that making randomizer was one of my best life decisions so far, that was the hardest I've laughed in years. I'll add those special randomizations you asked for a while ago in soon, as well as making the eternia portals not be something an enemy can roll. I may also add an extra config option to make it so all enemies are incapable of being immortal so it's not impossible. Thanks again for playing randomizer and I'm excited to see a masomode randomizer.
@Verserer Gred Honestly not sure, because the pumpking has 2 npc sections it has a bit of a higher chance of rolling than others but that's about it.

I've watched this video a lot while trying to beat vanilla terraria, and have continued coming back while waiting for the calamity music mod to update, so I can run the most up-to-date version of Calamity with the music.
Well today, I began playing Calamity with the music almost completely blind (basically only know the bosses and some select beginner stuff like wulfrum shit...and lots has changed since you played lmao).
My beginner's story to make y'all laugh...I used some Mandible Claws on the Perforator Cyst thinking it would drop something to help me spawn the Hive later...uh...
That was a *sick* two seconds of boss music I got to hear when the Hive spawned right on my head and killed me instantly. No I definitely didn't get startled and squeak in fear.
Anyway, thanks for making me fall in love with Terraria again with your content. I'll be handing you my prime sub as many months as possible 🥰
