Awsome video but your statement about your first engine cant be a v8 is pure crap, my 1st car at the age of 14 was a 1971 mercury with a high-octane 429ci big block with a 4bbl, heavy-duty c6 transmission and a 9" posi with 3:55 gears.. I drove that car all through high school. PS: Sorry but I've never heard of you, congrats on your success and enjoy the rewards 8)

Guess Ill say it. He's a car guy who designed every part of the car, but stuck an LS motor in it (my favorite motor, but not appropriate for this) and threw on a second rate pair of Kumhos...
I was so hyped when I saw his Garage article on CT, I wasn't really impressed actually tbh, just said "meh another celebrity showing off with his wealth" but after I saw this video my opinion changed, welcome to CT John.

+dumbestoyster LS engine are 4th generation small block Chevrolet engines. The LS3 is the 6.2 version. Good engine, cheap, reliable, but overused. The Cobra would be a real unicorn if it had a nice 427 Ford cammer engine or something like that.
This video gives a great overview of Jon Newman in less than 12 mins. I just think ‘he sang THAT song and can do all this with cars!?’ Wow what a guy! Unusual combination. I’d like to see a video where he goes into more detail about the Go Karts he was building. Good job
