I kinda doubt it. Simply because Mos Def's mother's name is Umi. Hence "Umi Says".

I love Kindred Soul. I have a problem with the drummer that solos through almost every song, and it’s not even a time to solo but his solo went through the whole song on almost all the songs. Why does that happen nowadays? Drums is one of my favorite instruments, but these drummers be out here, soloing thru the whole show. Stop the madness we know you can play the licks. Can you keep a steady beat without feeling like you gotta show your chops? It’s a major distraction from the people you are supposed to be supporting on the stage.
