There are 2300 graves of soldiers and marines here. 400 are marines part of us 2nd inf division which explains the marine presence. The remainder are regular doughboys.

Wife Eva Davis, Son- Wilton Earl Davis jr, Daughter Letty Davis Belemy. Citadel,charleston, SC. Class of 1926, From Westminster, SC to Louisana to Africa. His Mother Elizabeth Smith Davis recieved the South Carolina Mother of the year in 1944 for having the most children it WW II for SC. A wonderful memorial occasion. Whilst mostly thankful for the post, if the camera person should have controlled the movement of the camera, it would have been easier on the eye.
