Garden update July 10/24

Here's a little update on my garden. This is it's 2nd year and it had a very poor start with hail, then frost, then flooding and now a heat wave. You have to love Alberta, Canada's weather!
Out here we get the sun up at around 5:00 am and then it's still daylight till at least 10:00 pm this time of year. Sun sets a bit earlier but you can easily garden till 10 pm if there were no mosquitoes, but alas, there is! And they love me.
I found out so do the horseflies and wasps. Anyways, I hope you enjoy this update, garden is coming along nicely now that we finally have some heat!

I agree. Considering the garden spot was just part of the back field two years ago, I think it's coming along quite nicely now. I believe everyone should at least try to grow their own food. Container growing is gaining popularity as food prices soar and more farmland is lost.
