Yeah, but then you are 1 land behind, for the rest of game :) Drawing into land with map - allows us to have not only 4 mana, but also 4 lands for next turns, allowing you to play 1 extra mana each turn, until end of game :) I wanted way more lands than 3, so I wanted to take a risk and try to hit the land, we needed it to keep developing (I expected opponent's deck to potentially be stronger lategame, so wanted to finish the game with one big push). But bouncing verge was definitely the safe option :)❤️🦥
Nice variation on dimir bounce! Case of the Stashed Skeleton is a sleeper hit. It fits perfectly into this shell, and oddly enough it's also a good card anti-bounce card. Like, do they want to bounce either half of it? Bounce the case and it just gets replayed for another skeleton. Bounce the skeleton and that solves the case, so you get to demonic tutor. A thought I've had for dimir bounce is to drop the Kaito and Enduring Curiosity it took from dimir mid-range for its top end, and instead replace them with Intimidation Campaign. Think about how the deck is built and what it's doing, Campaign is exactly what it's looking for. It's an enchantment with an ETB. It draws cards. It deals damage, so it can stack up with Hopeless Nightmare to burn the opponents out faster. Plus it gains a bit of life which the current build can't do. And most importantly, it bounces itself just by commiting crimes. No need to target it. Imagine end step This Town your opponent's best permanent and a Hopeless Nightmare, pick up all the Campaigns laying around. Then untap and replay them all. The deck keeps the core of Stormchaser's, Nowhere to Run, FOI, This Town, and Get Out. Throw in a few more ways to commit crimes. Could be interesting.
@@Moleverd3 Some players are making plays, that get even me to think something is off :D But jokes aside, I think Viper trigger's UI might be a bit unintuitional, and they just clicked wrong prompt. That or paid actor😂
