You're the only youtuber that I genuenly take my time for, get a cup of coffee, sitback & don't fast forward. I wasn't even interested in VFX a couple months ago! Thanks man for providing some good content!
Hi Andrey, there is an easier way to prevent particles from leaving the cylinder. under the collider tag ->collision ->shape - change it from automatic to Static Mesh and you can keep the cylinder as it is! Thank you for all of your tutorials and stuff! I really love your channel!
I'm a Computer Science Student but the content quality on this channel is so good I end watching tutorials for VFX. I enjoy them, but I can't help but wish someone did coding tutorials on this style.
Andrey thank you for the video I always wanted to know how u did it. And congrats on the 100K! Ps c4d allows you to have a reference image, when you're in front view-mode hit shift+V, then go to the "Back"-tab, there you can load up a reference image
Thanx Andrey love those "bloody particles" :) now I have to get my butt down and seriouly dig in deep of C4D.... Really love the informative videos hope that your subs will go 10fold !!!
It's amazing how many times I have seen them in your videos and i didn't question their existence. Why not? Our reality is getting confusing where we would once question our eyes, we now accept what our eyes tell us as reality, since virtual is joining with that reality. Anyway, super impressive, as always!
The simplicity in your tutorials make it very transferable to other software’s, blender for instance would be very similar in the approach. Thanks for the tutorials man, always the quality stuff. Hope this channel never stops growing.
Wow, i actually didnt know you could keep the rigid bodies inside a mesh by reversing the normals. You learn something new everyday,Great tutorial btw Thanks.
Nice I always wondered about how you did that! and a Lathe (Lay-th) is a wood working/ wood spinning tool for making table legs and such. thanks for all the great content!!
Hey Andrey! I still didn't got to the point where i'm using C4D often, but i'll get there soon. The only issue that i had till the day, is with Octane. The setup isn't so straight forward. I know i can watch some tutorials on the topic, i can maybe try and be wrong sometimes, but i'd rather to learn it from familiar faces, so either you or Grey Scale Gorilla maybe will come up with some training! Seriously, the first time i wanted to try use octane, i didn't even got to the point where i got any result (still talking about first setup). Anywho, love what you're doing, and thank you for all the time and effort that you put into us! Keep it running and put your feet on a gas!!
Your tutorials are always Brilliant and thanks for all you do here on your channel as well. I know not everyone has XP but it would be interesting to see how you achieved it, personally i'm struggle to achieve it using XP tbh
The first video of urs that i watched about rendering engines, 3 sec into ur room footage i sppoted the jars :"D nad i tought they were real. Wow man, amazing.
when I first found your channel a year or so back. I looked everywhere to find those jars with lights!!!!! hahahaha. oh man. I figured it out after a few weeks but it was pretty funny.
Hey, great video. Just a tip in case you didn't know. In C4D you can press Shift + V in a viewport (front viewport in this case), which will open its settings. There you can go to the "Back" tab, where you can load an image from disk. That way you don't need to create a plane, the image stays in the viewport, and you can easily control its parameters (like transparency in percents instead of just an x-ray tick for the plane)
Mercury white Razer blade pro is my guess! You're tutorial videos are pretty great man. I certainly wish all this didn't seem so foreign to me, the stuff you do with VFX seems like such an awesome creative outlet to be a professional in. Hope to one day do some stuff in videography like you do and maybe even make a career out of it! Most likely you're videos will become a very important source of information and a tool of guidance into this extremely deep and intricate skill!
Pro tip : you can blur the effect of the fireflies to match the scene's depth of field.. it's kinda hard to look at it like this. Lols. Good luck with your competition 👍
Lathe is spelled like "lay-th"😂 In woodworking it's a machine which turns the block of wood very fast so you can carve out round things. Nice video though😍
Andry every time you open the cinema in your video we definitely learn a new something make more video when you work in this flow because you always have a something different 👍
Try using gaussian spectrum instead of rgb for emission nodes. That's from official manual: "The color usage in Octane is actually wavelength based. All RGB inputs that you use in other areas are actually converted to wavelength. At higher light intensity, rgb colors are clipped and you may see different (or wrong) color other than the desired color. "
If the collider body doesn't work for you:
put the "inherit tag" to "apply to children"
"individual elements" to "all"
"shape" to "mesh"
That worked!!! thank you!!!!!!!!
Thank you my friend!
Thank you very much!! I was tweaking the parameters and thought I should probably check the comments first. Thank you :D
Thanks! The fireflies were just falling through and I was at a loss. This worked!
I would hit the Like button now a 1000 times :D THX
Finally, the most awaited video of the year
))
of all time I would say ;)

the first two, I agree, but the third.....
2022: The matrix is real
@@yudi.g9544 No, it's computer generated and Andrey will make a tutorial about it in 2023

I really love your channel!
But it makes the simulation to compute much slower
@@randomcommenter6734 I followed Andrey's example, but the collider didn't work.
I love you!!!! tks
That was a great tip! Thanks Francesco!
you saved my life XD
Thanks for thinking in those don't have X-particles. Even when is a great tool . Your work is great.
Awesome. Man it’s so intricate. Your years of experience shows on how easily you navigate through C4D/Octane. Amazing stuff.
13:03 - "Okay, I want the particles to go up not laying on the bottom lazy bastards."
LMFAOOO
I'm positive now - you're living in a green screen world, where nothing is real whatsoever :D
Incredible work as always, Andrey!
Inspired by the ease you are sharing things you've probably learned with a quite bit of effort.
Awesome and respectable, thank you.
“lazy bustards” 🤣
I laughed out loud at it lol
XD XD
If you have problem with collider just go to colission tag >> collision >> shape >> automatic (MoDynamics)
you deserve gold, silver, titanium, mythril, diamonds and all precious elements known to man
I am so glad that you made this video ultrawide compatible.

Ahhh, this is a nice piece of info. Thank you 🙏🏼
I have more simple way to do so
step 1: buy a jar
step 2: catch fireflies
and that's the way you made the jar with fireflies, cheers!
You know, i don't use C4D or Octane, but this tutorial is still usefull for someone who uses other progams, very nice.
