(Added to your video) battery procedure: Connecting the battery, do the positive first, then negative. Disconnecting the battery, disconnect the negative before the positive. Appreciate these videos as they come in handy when actually having to do the work.
A kick back during start broke the spring on my 182P before my time. Spring only was just replace. Adapter had 3 years on it since new. Could you list what control/wiring items you loosen ? Pull fwd 4" or moved left?
Oh bummer. Do you know if you have the new style or classic old style adapter? Either way, really only tilted the engine about 4 inches. Jacked up from the hoist point and let the front hang down touching the mount. Removed all 4 mount bolts completed. Disconnected throttle cable and loosened mixture. Prop had enough slack to leave along but I disconnected it anyway.
