Wow what a candid and in depth "interview" of you both. Super interesting. Strong and honest answers from people who are leading an interesting life and have collected valuable experience. Plus a peek into the "early days" of Seawind, which I have been looking forward to!
Wow, William! Thank you so much for that. It really means the world to us! We are trying to remain vulnerable and have fun while doing it! Super excited to start to tell the story of the early days!
Thank you Jeff! The standing rigging on Seawind is original from 1979. Since the boat was on Lake Erie (fresh water) its entire life the rigging wasn't subjected to the harsh saltwater environment. We are always torn because it visually looks OK but for peace of mind we have decided to replace it
You didn't JUST go out on your own, which is scary enough as a young person; you went on a sailboat that has a ridiculous learning curve that takes decades, and also crossed the Gulfstream to islands in the Bahamas!! That's awesome and the best way to start! You went way over and above to find your independence.
Thank you so much! You are absolutely right with everything you said and it means a lot to me! Really puts into perspective what we have acomplished 😊 cheers!
Should have picked up a couple small pumpkins also known as sugar pumpkins so you can harvest the inside of them and make some really delicious bread and pie.. we do it every other year and we freeze enough to last us along with giving away loaves to others.. you can also freeze the bread for several months.. if you've never had pumpkin pie or bread straight from the pumpkin you've been missing out..that pumpkin in a can is mainly gourds and other things instead of pumpkin.. the short hair on the Mrs's looks good but you have to get rid of that silly manbun.. you're definitely going to look back at pictures while rocking it and see why trends or fads never last long.. it's cause they're not even close to looking like something worth having.. kids are going to look back at bringing the mullet back and realize that it wasn't cool the 1st time and nothing is even close to cool the 2nd time

You are so welcome! Thanks, Brittany 😊
Great video! New season already around the corner. 👏. I wouldn’t have thought your rigging would already need replacement. Not that old?

Great idea about fresh pumpkin pie! Sounds delicious. I (Parker) enjoy my long hair!
Lose the man bun!
I've threatened to cut it off but so far it remains!
