This programme seems useful for kids. On that video heading: Yes, the best way to learn any language is via movies. First, you have to soak in some grammar and rules of the language then the movies do the rest. I'm speaking from my own experience. Say 80% of my english knowledge sources in watching TV series and shows.

It should be: "She received a letter from her parents," or, "She got a letter from her parents." Here's an example of how to use "become": I became frustrated when I realized he wasn't listening to what I was saying. By the way, do you speak a Germanic language? I know that "bekommen" in German means "to receive"....
