Your videos helped me a lot at work, I am always up to date with your channels, each video gives me a ton of information, keep the good job and hopefully you can talk about more topics about project engineering. and I have three questions for you here, 1- What does project control mean to you? 2- What do you consider to be the most critical factors in project control, and why? 3- Why is it important that the project control elements of scope, schedule, resources and cost, together with information management, be considered in an integrated matter? Can I have a detailed answer for each question, if you don't mind
this is a very good presentation. my question is; if the project control controls cost, then what is the role of the Finance Manager, that is what is the difference between the role played by a Finance Manager and a Control Manager. Thank you.
Hi, Finance managers most times do not have a updated information on the ongoing implementation works status (Construction schedule Update) on a project, Unlike Project Control Manager who is constantly abreast of the schedule and cost. So its easy to advise the Finance Managers on Cash payable and other Financial interaction with external parties.
Hi Shohreh, Thanks for the video. I didn’t notice risk and analysis on the organization chart. Where would risk mitigation fall in the organization chart? TIA.
So, are project admins above or different than Project support tech or Supervising project coordinators? Proj. Support Tech, which works with the Project manager to keep minutes and coordinate meetings, new employees' badge??? etc.
This video is not talking about project admins. It's about Project Controls vs. Project Management, What you have in mind as a project admin is more like an admin assistant. Project Controllers are NOT admin assistant. Please check the video for more clarity on the role.
Kavi, anything that helps you speak the standard language and grow your knowledge will be helpful. The short answer is YES, go for it.
