Top or Cliff singer is Kim Sejeong and shes actually a famous kdrama actress with 12 million followers on Instagram. She did everything in all of her songs in her album from lyrics to recording to production etc. Shes an idol/singer/OST sjnger/soloist/songwriter/model/host/, kdrama/theatre/musical actress, used to be in kpop groups IOI and Gugudan, and also the main lead in popular kdramas like Business Proposal, Uncanny Counter, School 2017 etc.
Her career started in Produce 101, the first girl group survival show last 2016 where she won alongside with Somi and was called god Sejeong by koreans because shes just good at everything and shes always first place during. votings and rankings. Thats why she got invited as a judge in Universe Ticket global girl group survival show last year alongside with other kpop icons like Hyoyeon from SNSD and soloist Younha.
You also need to react to Top or Cliff performance and live video where she danced to it to see how mesmerizing she is when she dances and how good she is and stable her voice is in live singing.
Regarding the lyrics/story, everything is just in her head. she was fighting her inner demons on her way to the top which is her quest to perfection. But all of these efforts just drove her crazy thats why her top turned into a cliff, the perfection turned into madness as the mansion burns down. The main antagonist (butler) was actually herself and the little girl represented her innocence which she tried to save.
You might not have heard her as a soloist because her songs are usually ballads and most people find it boring, also her small agency barely promotes her but shes well known as one the best vocalists in the third generation. Top or Cliff is like the most mainstream in her songs.
That's a great introduction to her thank you. I have not watched a Kdrama yet, maybe that's why I did not recognize her. Love the storyline. There was certainly nothing boring about this song.

@@EXPECTATIONSSHATTERED TripleS concept is little wild but they have many units known as 'Dimensions' in the group which are chosen by the fans through voting process called 'Gravity' in COSMO app designed by their agency, MODHAUS .
All of the 24 members can rotate between these Dimensions based on the Gravity voting. These Dimensions are temporary which means they will be dissolved after releasing few songs. After that, new dimensions will be created and a set of members will join these dimensions.
Each member of TripleS has a symbol called 'S' and they are represented with this symbol such S1, S2, S3.....S24.
So far, here are the units/dimensions of TripleS:-
1) Acid Angels from Asia (AAA)
2) +(Krystal Eyes)
3) Lovelution
4) Evolution
5) NXT
6) Aria
7) Glow ( coming soon)
Simply put, TripleS is one of the most unique girl groups out there because of these reason:-
1) large no. of members
2) Voting process for deciding songs and unit/dimension names.
3) Excellent choreography
4) Rotational & temporary units/dimesions having excellent discography.
Note:-
'Girls Never Die' is the title track of their album Assemble24 where all the 24 members participated for the first time.
Earlier in 2023, they had 'Assemble' album where only 10 of the members participated for the title track 'Rising'. Check this one out!
