  • This is a short video to help explain how to use the verb Estar. It's easier to learn this verb if you think of it as 'to be feeling or to be located" instead of just 'to be.' Hope you find it helpful. Click "Show More" in the description for a link to class materials. Thank you for your support!

    At 3:50 I recommend that you let us guess the translation for a few minutes before showing its meaning just for better practice. Otherwise this is a great video. Thank you!

      For how you feel and where you are, always use the verb "estar."

    There are a few errors, but overall it's a good video. Restaurante not resturante. Adentro de not adentro do. 4:27 "Note that we need to add an s to the word cansado." - But the word is contentos.

    It seems like I’m the only person that’s still confused. How do u know when to use estar when it come to just regular nouns instead of pronouns?

    • @CyberProfe
      @CyberProfe  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's hard to learn a second language and I'm proud of you for starting the journey! Off the top of my head, I would think that most nouns would use SER because they aren't going to change. Estar is for (mostly) feelings and locations and things that will be different in 12 hours. Ser is for things that just are and will still be that way in 12 hours.
