Illustrating Roadside Picnic was a long-cherished ambition for award-winning illustrator Dave McKean, who first visited the Zones in art school. Dave McKean is one of a few, who is an inspiration on my art. One of my favourite artist, or illustrators...I think he doesn't care for the term "artist" 😅 I'm 46 and I started loving his work since I was a young lad 15-16 when he..with Grant Morrison, did Batman Arkham Asylum book. Absolutely brilliant art and writing. Since then I started art. To this day I mention Dave McKean in any conversation👍🏻
