OMG! The hammond, the clarinet, the saxes, the bass, the bassoon, the guitar, the trombone! so good. also, can I comment on how beautfiul your video is!
I was searching up "zelda music with lydian dominant" in google, because I was playing around with it and heard things that reminded me of Zelda, and sure enough, I find this!
This is the kind of band I always wanted to be in! I love the rhythm that you guys add to the tune! Really gives it a sort of groovy island feel. The transition to Groose's theme was great, although I think it would have been even cooler if you transposed one to match the other, although you do that at the end. And the psychedelic effects added to Groose's theme and the chords were awesome!
yeah it can be really goofy, but oddly enough it can sound amazingly deep when you go to it from the right chord. For example, the progression Eminor9 to F9, if I use E dorian over the Em and then F lydian dominant, it sounds so deep man! lydian dominant mode is also used in the "sealed chamber" in pokemon emerald. It seems to be a favorite of video game composers lol
TheFutureVirtuoso, I don't fully understand what you're saying*, but I love that you're saying it. :D *(The extent of my chord knowledge is basically research into Adorno's torturous 'On Popular Music'.)
This is an excellent band cover! As a low reed player myself, I am especially drawn to that excellent bassoon! Nice job overall, fellow VGM musicians.
The groose is loose
haha the zooms the moving saxophonists. amazing.
Sickness! Oboe and Organ = the aura of intrigue. Loving the bass and drum easy funk too. Smashing.

this is awesome. There needs to be more songs with basoon
Slowly collected them! When you love music it's hard to stick to one instrument. So many sounds!
Good stuff. A reggae cover from a video game isn't easy to find! Please keep them coming!
Stole some ideas off you for the video haha. Thanks again dude. So much fun syncing with your fills!
Stellar work again guys. Keep this shit up! How you don't have more followers is beyond me.

I always thought those two songs would go great together.

Im dead, this is great.
You and your partners did a fantastic job! I have a question to ask you.
1. Who edited this video clip?
Wow, how do you have access to so many instruments? It feels like everyone who is into music has tons of different instruments at home ^^
This cover is awesome. Can I used it in one of my videos?
Sure dude! Cheers
Done in a ska style...interesting.
Zappa was cooler :D
That weird trombone ruined it for me...but otherwise this was cool
