I love this cute little house!! My parents are getting ready to retire and downsize. They will be building on our property and this is the perfect size for them! The set up is perfect and I love the kitchen! For a smaller home this feels larger than it is because of those high ceilings. Love all the details, beautiful job!
This is what I would like for my retirement home too. Maybe an additional bedroom. And a slightly larger living room. Everything else is perfect! She has great taste. Very stylish and easy going.
My dad passed away last summer . two months later, my mom almost died in surgery. She sold her house and is living with my sister but stays with me some. She has decided to move into my guest house, which was formerly a 22 by 24 Workshop but it looks like a home from the outside. We have renovated it and she is so excited to decorate it and have her own place again. But she will be on my property so I can check on her. I came here for decorating and design ideas. Our space is very similar. I even have my dad's deer heads can hang on the walls . What a great tiny home! Thank you for the inspiration!

I've never been one to like open shelving in the kitchen but I absolutely love yours. You've decorated it perfectly. It's so nice that you've incorporated old family heirlooms and gifts from family into the decor. ( love the marbles ) I'm also a fan of glass door knobs. I put feature shelves above the end of my peninsula also. It’s a great focal point from another room, and it’s difficult to reach that area on a daily basis, so decor (with rarely used but practical pieces) made sense.
