Pro tip Wyatt, sometimes if you punch someone it gives you a star, if you have a star then you can press the start button, that allows you to do an uppercut that does a lot of damage, or sometimes knock a opponent out completely.
Wyatt, if you use your ➕ then you get a star punch (really OP). If you move your stick down then you can block the standard attacks not the purple ones.
Hey wyatt, the best way to counter Piston Hondas special is to press down on the d pad to block. If you repeatedly press it then you take very little damage. Really enjoying the series though
2 ways to master this game is whatever side the guy is hitting you you dodge that way. Say if he is punching left you dodge left. Another thing is that you press the start button when you have a star so you can do a super punch
Down on the d-pad or joystick is what u use to block. Also I forget which button it is but the stars in the top left corner are useful. When u get them u can use a star punch. I forget what it is on the switch but there is a way to look at the controls to figure it out. Hope this helps

For don flamenco you dodge when he raises his glove and then if you just alternate left and right face shots back and forth he can’t defend them
You can get stars and use them for a star punch (strong punch) by pressing plus. The more stars you have the stronger the punch.

Punch piston Honda as he comes toward you(body shot) and so on also I’d suggest looking up how to fight king hippo because it is hard to explain
