That's becus it was relatively short & took place during 4 other things happening at the base simultaneously. Personally wud've liked More dialogue from her. I know we wudnt get a full back story but even bfore they fought she smirked at Logan. Did she finally gain "control" once she saw her former enemy? Was she born with a healing factor or did movieverse Stryker enhance her (outside of adamantium lol)? That's always been a struggle with xmen movies vs TV shows. It's too many characters to flesh out in 2hrs so they focus on Logan, Mystique, Magneto & Charles (mostly)

@Trofjaeotjfjswifb if they'd spar we definitely get some badass choreography but in a fight to the death, Mystique cudnt afford to make any mistakes unlike Logan. & Deathstrike seems to hav some degree of enhanced strength.

As much as I like this version of Deathstrike, I hate that they never gave her backstory from the comics, that she is Wolverine’s ex-girlfriend, Yurkio.
Her death was so brutal. The adamantium filling her veins and solidifying. Given her regenerate powers, she might not have died quickly but slowly faded away in a locked-in state in total agony.
I like how she sinks in the water after being filled with the metal. A minor and obvious detail in hindsight, I know, but it just happened when I wasn't expecting it, so for me it was a pretty nice touch.

When Wolverine gives her an adamatium overdose her mind control wears off and she looks like she regrets everything she did just before she dies. I never thought Kelly Hu would be returning as Lady Deathstrike in Deadpool and Wolverine but I’m happy she’s back and I’m ready for her rematch with Wolverine in the Void EDIT: I found out after seeing the movie that Kelly Hu did not return as Lady Deathstrike in Deadpool and Wolverine as she was recast with a stunt actress named Jade Lye

She's such a tragic character, since she's not a willing villain and is forced to do Stryker's bidding for the entire movie. The only other time she manages to come to, outside of their meeting with Charles at the facility, is when she's being killed right before the mind control is about to wear off. If they'd fought for another minute she would've been free.

I`ll go with his claws. Seems easier to use as you have to aim with your hand-fist and not every finger individually. Imagine if you have all your finger adamantium nails out and you squeeze your palm just a little bit cuz you dont rly control every finger that well in a messy fight. Having your fist closed with the 3 big claws out is much more efficient for me. Besides his are bigger and should in theory provide better defense and deal mush more damage to objects. Her finger nails thing is mostly for precision stabs and not much else. Oh and it means you have that metal all the way up your fingers hence why she felt the need to constanly crack her finger cuz they felt stiff and solid. Cool desing and visuals but thats all.

In the game sequel to this movie Lady Deathstrike survive they never explained how she survive though.
