It took me about 20 minutes to install it on my own. As long as you can lift it out the box and up into position you’re good. I did have to break the box to get it out as it was a snug fit. I followed the installation video on you tube which was a big help. I added this to support central air in my house that was struggling upstairs because of my house design. Lovely unit. You need a peltier however the different on the temperation varies thus if you let it on for a longer period of time the cold side will go hot as well.
thanks to Peltier unit. one side of Peltier cools down and other heats up when there is current on the Peltier. It isn't used because of much lower efficiency than vapor compression based AC. Still, it can make a reason if the unit has to be very small.
