Grown up listening to numan since tubeway army still love him especially live shows top man
Hands down one of the best live shows I ever saw. Saw Gary in NYC maybe 6 years ago at Webstar Hall. I went thinking I was gonna see the old Gary Numan. SOOOOOO GLAD I met this Gary his Band! I'm a bigger fan than I originally was. His concert and his band will always be in my top 10 live shows I've ever seen in NYC and I saw them all.
Gary Numan...One of the most Authentic Performers I've ever had the privilege to see, mere feet in front of me, sharing his amazing art. I'm at an age where I have seen many iconic bands front row, and Gary is unquestionably in the Tops!
Geat chap ... so talented and still looks amazing ... do you recon he dyes his hair, mine is like candy floss ... I wish I new who styles it for him ... a true legend
Outstanding recording of a super tight band performance with Gary still pouring out his heart and emotions for the fans.. love the intimate shows. Seen him 3 times, but missed this tour. Yes, Gary's music is always changing, becoming more darker over the past years, but still melodic. I see it as reflective of the times, as he's connected and derives inspiration and ideas from the insane but hopeful world around us..
He stayed the visionary he was from the beginning.
He was good one time ago especially when beryl his beautiful mother was here to guide him and help him with most things what a wonderful woman she was may she always rip always. I will never ever forget our chats on the tours and phone. It's just a shame nothing lasts forever 😢 he will never ever replace nash and cedric and Chris these guys were the making of gary along with Chris and Russell. But hey times move on and nothing stays the same anyway enjoy if you like this mostly pre recorded gig 👍 😊
Much respect for an artist that can recreate themselves over such a massive timespan as Gary and keep the creative juices flowing to the point that he still makes bad ass music. A true artist.

Hard to believe he's 65 (64 at the time of this concert), very active and a youthful stage performance!
Most artists his age are either retired or looking like old men doing the glory round with the same old songs that they wrote 40 years ago!
I started listening to Gary from the year 1979, as my mum (rip) brought his album replicas, so personally I would say Gary becomes more and more better with age, just like Bowie did.gary is the best, ✌🏻.

I’ve waited to see Gary numan 40 years now I have seen him twice in Leeds 02 academy fantastic I am going to see him again brilliant he puts on a good show I’ve been listening to his music since the 80s.awesome.

Great recording thank you !! I wish Pure was on the setlist based on the quality of this, my favorite and so badass on this tour. Can you believe he also flew around the world in his own plane, 41 years ago. Can't wait to see his tour next year.

This date was an amazing show... so great to see the band perform... I stood in front of Steve Harris (guitar) and watching him was a show in itself... so much fun...
Steve stepped off the stage at the show I went to and a friend (who's not very big) helped break his fall. The next day he was wondering why his shoulder was so torqued, then he put two and two together.
Saw the show in Philly a month ago! Just Incredible!

Funny I saw him in Leeds England not long after this and this was exactly what view I had from a balcony. I actually prefer to be down on the floor. I felt closer to them, the music sound quality was better from the floor in the middle and you could definitely see him better- although he’s really good and if there are people on higher levels or balconies he always does make sure that he looks over and interacts with you. Doesn’t seem to matter what is zero bars do they can never seem to pick up the sound on the videos properly anyway!
Gary does a lot of inexplicable trapsing around the stage like he is looking for something he just realized he misplaced : )
Thankyou so much for sharing this. I Saw Gary plenty of times during the 80s. last year having got thru lockdown n unable to get a ticket in my home town I took a train n went to pastures new to see this concert. The fans were lovely n showed me the way from train station n back to train afterwoods. I Got on wrong train somehow n ended in Manchester airport all night was truly a night to remember, haaaa silly me. Was a small gig Bradford/Bolton somewhere like that but i enjoyed it, Gary is super fit . same age as me n puts me to shame. Who are the two guitarists, the one on the right had me in stitches of laughter all thru gig? Fabulous video above, many thanks.

Roll on Sheffield in May, first numan gig for me, long long overdue. Awesome concert footage.
Hope you had a great time! I really wanted to go to Sheffield! I saw him in Leeds and thanks to being blown away by my first Numan gig, my partner having a day off, having some spare cash, me (despite my bone disease) being willing to drive 220 miles at the drop of a hat and thanks to there being some tickets left, we also went to Leicester too! I couldn’t leave it at one, it was actually really cool because we had a balcony view at one and was right in front of the other gig, so got a nice different mixture of views and photographs! I’d have liked to have gone to Sheffield because that’s closer for me I’m only round the corner to Leeds. I was knackered, out of cash and my partner didn’t have the next day off, sadly. I’d definitely like to go see some gigs in Sheffield sometime soon, as well as Manchester!

I have tried so hard to get into Gary Numan. I love Devo. Kraftwerk, etc, but I I find that too many of Numan's songs are at the same tempo--so much so that it is sometimes difficult to tell when one song ends and another begins because they sound so much alike. I am sure the live experience is so much better live than watching a TH-cam video.

I don't know what you mean, for a TH-cam video, pretty good. It's even a privilege for any artist to allow recording or do recording of their shows (b/c they really don't have to) and I am grateful for all the ones I have seen.

How is this any worse than the Exhibition or Dream Corrosion ..or Outland tours for example?
You obviously are stuck in the past, unlike Numan who has progressed over the years.
He certainly did .And the music was better .The constant head thrashing body movement is hard to watch ,doesn't look right on a man of his years .
I was at a number of the late 80s and early 90s shows, and what he is doing now is a HUGE improvement. So happy he found a way out of those years.
He's like a fine wine just gets better with age xxx
