That's pretty much exactly how I set up a migration zone. If you're dealing with high humidity, you can also put slight elevation on the cocoon side of the bin so that moisture sinks with gravity towards the watermelon side. ~ Sandra

In my personal opinion around here everybody likes big worms. The little red worms they're okay but they just won't sell like the big ones will everybody likes those Canadian worms
@@skeeet5758 I suppose it depends on who your target audience is. For fishing bait, pair love the Canadian worms and European Nightcrawlers. I do keep the Euros and LOVE working with them, but most people buying worms from me are interested in the red wigglers.
I see many growers with rather big bins, this must be quite back breaking. Nice video.
Hey Ro! I love that you have your feed zone along the long edge of the bin. I never ever thought to do it that way 😳🙄🤩. I think it’s a great idea! ❤
@@RockinWorms thank you! It seems to work pretty well, since the worms don’t have to travel as far :)

Hi Ro. I like your idea and I’ll give it a try. I’m new to this 10 months in started with 100 worms. Boy oh boy do they multiply fast.
good info
@@hansdybka1331 thank you! I’m glad it’s helpful :)
Please excuse all the trash bags in the back. Someone gifted me a bunch of packing paper for the worms 🤣
I understand.
Good job. All the best.
I freeze all my food and still get fruit flies. Any ideas. Thanks for your time and energy in your videos.

Good job
What is the size of your bin and how many worms went into it when you established it ? Did you originally have about 2" of bedding ?
Nice one
