Probabilmente è una combinazione di tutto... ricominciare qusi subito dopo aver perso due membri fondamentali con un tour già pianificato, la famiglia etc... non dev'essere stato facile. Credo che Daniel effettivamente avesse qualche problemino alla voce, se senti in siters quando parla, si nota che l'aeva un po' giù. Io aspetterei il tour sudamericano prima di giudicarli ;) (per quello di sicuro proveranno di più!)
A loro discolpa posso dire che il pubblico non è che fosse un granchè... veramente molto molto tiepido. Essendo un festival gratuito i fans erano davvero pochi rispetto alla gente presente... credo abbia inciso molto.

Nope. Well, let's see then. :-) I would be more than happy if they could recover some enthusiasm. you know, I do not mean to criticize for the sake of doing it, and I'd always buy any cd of dany boy, and go to the concert. Just can't accept anything less than pain of salvation. specially after all these years and hours of listening and discussions on fan forums. :-)
I completely understand the need of changing. Believe me, I never expected two albums to sound the similar. But I saw them live many times, and since Road Salt 1 tour they don't play the old songs as they shuold. He does not believe in it, it is just a mere execution. And this way, he looses half of the pathos, and all the magic and emotions. It seems a bad cover band of pain of salvation. :-) better close the band and start some new project without the need of playing the old songs.
I'm a fan of PoS since 2002 (I was literally in the fan club), and after this video, despite the decent execution, I think it is time for Daniel to close the band, and move ahead on the new path. He is a great musician, composer, singer, but it is possible to FEEL the difference. Its like he does not feel his music himself as he used to do. He does not believe in it... and being an instinctive singer, he cannot simply deliver it with a mere execution. Its sad thou...
Capisco. Non so. Forse semplicemente non erano preparati. Non avevano provato abbastanza visto che è un concerto abbastanza isolato. Ma tra tutti quello che ho visto, o Daniel ha problemi alla voce, oppure le cose non stanno evolvendo per il meglio. non sono mai stati approssimativi... dal RS1 tour invece qualcosa è cambiato. Sicuramente il cambio di lineup completo non aiuta...
Closing the band would do nothing. He IS Pain of Salvation, so forming something else would be completely pointless. You need to understand that people change after writing music for 20 years.
Well, it was well played at least. :-) Daniel surely has some problem with the voice. Maybe just aging. He said he never liked to study singing as it would have 'trapped' him... so, perhaps now he is getting the check to pay for that. Anyway, somehow I still believe he should be playing what he feels to compose nowadays, and leave the old songs back in the CDs and DVDs. Change the format. He has the talent to be awesome anyway. :-D
