It's even worse that all of his actions were only reported after his death. So he never went to court, and rot in prison. At least he's burning in hell with Rolf Harris.
@@leopaulek7720 This isn't what had me stop watching, it's the writing of the character. I jumped ship after The Doctor was told about one of their companions having cancer, and instead of comforting said companion, they did the awkward this is too much for me schtick. This from a character who once comforted a different companion who had just lost her father by talking about how they can keep family in their heart and mind, and when they want they can bring those memories back so they're never lost. The Doctor knows pain, the Doctor knows loss, the writers forgot this at that moment and played cancer off for laughs aren't they so qwirky. To me that's abhorant.
Number 1 is no shocker. Even Johnny Rotten, Of the Sex Pistols, got banned from the BBC after making remarks/allegations in 1978 about Jimmy Savile during an interview.
I know many people say 'what does a pdf file/r@pist/murderer (whatever) look like' but I honestly think that if an intellectual being from another planet saw a photo of Savile, they'd know immediately that he was a wrongun. I remember being disappointed that I didn't get a response to my letter to him, which I wrote on my favourite Mr. Men writing paper, and I coloured in the characters correctly too, when I was probably about 7 years old. Now, I can only be grateful I didn't hear back.
@SirAsdf okay that actually makes a lot of sense now that you mention that. As long as it's like the previous recorded audio of them describing it instead of them just newly rehashing the same info, then it's fine. But still I think with that being said they could have cut the audio into sections and squeeze the part about Huw Edwards just a bit later on, if that's how it works
Only 20? Can think of many more. In fairness, I don't think the Nick Griffin episode of Question Time was really a scandal. If you watch the full episode (which is probably still available somewhere), you'll see that he rightly gets absolutely rinsed.
Let's talk about all the programs from the past that the public paid for through the tv licence are now only accessible by a subscription to pay to view services like britbox. It should all be available for free to the public!!!
The loss of the classic modern Top Gear trio after Clarkson's sacking in 2015 was definitely pretty bad, especially with how the show lost its charm that our comedic host trio had together on screen. Say what you will about that situation, but it is a real shame that James and Richard left too with Clarkson, though I'm glad the trio was able to complete The Grand Tour from 2016 to 2024, as the show is finished now.
@CashelOConnolly I didn't say I agree with Clarkson's actions, as it wasn't a great thing to do for him at the time. He has apologized, granted, and like I said, I am not saying violence is ok for those situations.
From what I've looked up, he wasn't in a great mode and was served food that was different to what he ordered anyway, but regardless I don't think it was acceptable what he did, but at least he owned up to the mistake and made amends. He is a human, after all, and sometimes stress and certain days can make anyone have a foul mood. But I'm hoping Clarkson at least learnt from that error in judgement after the incident happened as he is still going strong to this day.
The BNP was never one of the largest political parties. Get your facts right. They where tiny compared with Labour and Conservatives where did you get this information from the BBC?
3:39 No David. No one was "forced" to watch BBC programming and people could EASILY change the channel. As much as i despise the BBC this was a silly statement.
Perhaps the BBC were right about ADHD - without an objective diagnostic criteria, it has to be worrying if people can get online diagnoses and powerful medication that interferes with your brain's functioning. For the same reason how can anyone know if the condition is underdiagnosed (or indeed overdiagnosed)? I mean they're wrong about so many things (yes they're ridiculously biased against Trump - like a huge number of news media organisations), but that one I think might have been worth looking into.
I understand that these are pretty much just smashed back to back but the drastic change in vocals between 11 and 10 is jarring. Less so on this than the who do you think you are one
@12:14 you state if you dont watch the BBC or Iplayer you dont need a licence, this isnt fully true as you need a licence to watch ANY channel be it on Sky or ITV or channel 4 or 5 if its broadcast live (live doesnt actually mean live tv all the time it also means as its being broadcast such as soaps or films) or even if its live sports on TH-cam or amazon etc. Its only on demand tv that doesnt need a licence such as Disney + or netflix or any other provider like that.
Yeah The whole Jerry springer the opea, Where they should've blame Stewart lee who created the opera. Which was a satirical P.O.V on many things, i think it was when their in hell were it gone to far. And hear is my final thought.
I get the need for private practitioners in the UK, due to the NHS backlog to diagnose and treat ADHD, but it needs to be done in an ethical and proper way. As ADHD is a diagnosis based on ruling other conditions out, it takes hours of tests to do a proper diagnosis in order to rule other things out. This is why most of the higher ups at Done in the US were arrested and indicted on fraud charges, as they were offering a quick and easy way to access Ritalin and Adderall without proper diagnoses. This caused a major shortage of these medications for legitimate ADHD patients in the US, including me. Healthcare professionals need to take neurodivergent conditions like autism and ADHD seriously and figure out a way to be able to screen more people and get them the proper diagnosis in a timely manner so they can get the proper treatment.
I cancelled my licence 3 months ago. I love Strictly but am willing to sacrifice it and watch the dances when they appear on YT, rather than pay towards a company that allows paedophiles to use their position at the bbc to find victims.
@sandilesibanyoni2244 if you watch any TV channels in the UK be it BBC or sky TV or itv or channel 4 or 5 you need to pay the BBC about £160 a year even if you never watch the BBC they get the money from the TV licence. It's a fine of up to £1000 or prison if caught without a licence watching any TV program as its being broadcast this also includes recording TV for watching later. The only time you don't need a licence is if you only watch Disney plus or Netflix or something of that ilk as its on demand.
I totally get that there should have been coverage, definitely all night on BBC1, but the same programming across all channels? I don't see how that was necessary.
I haven’t paid for a tv licence for 5 years. Nothing at the BBC has changed; it still overpays men, covers up scandal after scandal and clearly favours Labour over any other party. However, I’m £800 better off for not paying the licence fee.
@Flickymcbean825 when they did the wages disparity they also showed what programs the people were doing and some of the men they were moaning about being paid more were actually doing 3 or 4 different shows so maybe it should be broken down to the wage of the actual show I.e burt or burtess earned 6k for doing this program and 8k for this program and 6k for that program resulting in a total of £***** p.a rather than just ballparking their entire wage for the year and saying look how they are out paid more than mr/Mrs Smith.
@WatchMojoUK you tell them you don't need a licence, and every 2 years, they contact you to ask again if this is still the case. They also say they may visit to check, but they have no right to enter the property. My neighbour got caught when they opened the door to them as the England game was on in the Euros and they could see the TV from the front door and he had said he didn't need a licence.
It's making me wonder why they are airing One Piece on BBC I player if there is something to do with Sanji's personally they liked? or more covers ups and scandals we do not know about by getting more viewers in by showing a popular Anime?

The BBC needs to be defunded and dismantled, especially with how they handled the Jimmy Saville situation for over *half a century.* 😡

Why is Huw Edwards only number 11?
Also, I am not funding the tv licence anymore

Because they only recorded numbers 20-11 for this video, the other ten are just stock footage from their original "worst things the BBC did" video.

Scandal after Scandal but the BBC will still expect you to pay under £200 every year for it...
They can expect what they like. It's only compulsory if you watch live TV or use iplayer. Change your viewing habits and don't pay it.
Wait, you pay to have those channels? No way
It's so they can give the victims of abuse hush money.
