@@yep8058 I have just lost the honor run in literaly 5 second taking damage from fire surface 2 times in the nautilode... and yeah i have spent 30 min doing the pg
genuinely I love these kind of videos a 100000x more than the actual speedruns. having someone talk me through the decision making and tactics of a speedrun like this is amazing and I love you for it
for real. This is the only kind of speed run content I really enjoy. At least some put the explanations in the comments or descriptions but I prefer this. I don't speedrun but now I know about stacking bombs and throwing them for an insane cluster grenade.
@@DamnedToDream Друг, обрати внимание на то, что хронос после призыва рук, сразу заходит в локацию, а после очень быстро жмет на лазлаель, благодаря чему переносится обратно в локацию где стоят руки и может манипулировать ими)
I did it too except I messed up everything in Act 3 and I had to fight Orin and Gortash with my lvl 5 team. Then I messed up again and had to fight in the high halls. then used gale bomb on the brain
@@DamnedToDream I walked the extra mile recruiting Gale. Just get three easy items in the grove to feed him in act 2 and do an extra rest in there to trigger Elminster to show up. (be also prepared for a wisdom throw for the durge companion cut scene after shadow fell). Don't discourage him from blowing himself up and have him in your team in act three (so he doesn't get kidnapped by Orin and stuff). Worked pretty well. My affinity with him was high and I didn't even have to do a persuasion check). Felt a lot easier than the brain fight, which always gives me trouble.
@@DamnedToDream you have to click your character portrait first then laezels during the cutscene. If you just just click the laezel portrait once the cutscene starts then u cant use your mage hand.
As RP heavy as BG3 is (esp given it's basically 5e), I'm 4 mins in and love the idea of me playing the game normally, min/maxing my stats and 100% completionist running the game... and, as I prepare to defend the Grove, see some random guy just jumping from ledge to ledge, picking up potions then fucking the hell off lool
@ChronosReturns Thanks to your videos I was able to complete my Ps5 honor mode run in a little under 5 hours. There were a few adjustments I needed to make, since I am running on the current patch but I was able to get this done thanks to you!
Can confirm this is still doable and I just completed it on Xbox. There were only a few things I had to shift to make it work. 1. To get moon lantern don’t talk to spider guy, just command drop and pick up the lantern. Shadowheart will definitely die but you don’t need her and you can just transfer from her inventory into yours. 2. Not console specific but I made the mistake when doing ketheric/myrkul of only throwing the bombs from my inventory and it wouldn’t do enough damage. For some reason you specifically need to drop them on the ground and then throw. 3. For final fight, pretty much do what he does except I found you need to dismiss the mage hands after you throw potions as sometimes they will still trigger initiative. By no means did I do this at speed run pace, but it did help me get the achievement as well as the gold dice
I'm having an issue rn when doing the gith intermission where when I jump down to the last area with the emperor and the gith, it auto triggers the cut scene and I'm not able to get spells ready. I have watched the video and made sure that I am jumping far enough back but it still triggers. Did you encounter the same or similar issues?
@@devicefps The first bombs you buy from the shop are bugged and will explode in your face when thrown. You need to give them to Shadowheart right after you purchase the first set in order to not get them mixed up with your good bombs. Chronos goes over this briefly in his video but you can see him explain it in more detail in his SGDQ run linked below this video.
@@bzerkt_tattoos yes I had that issue, only thing I did different is stand far further back on that platform. Somehow in the video he jumps far further without triggering initiative but I had to be like right up on the edge of the rock. You teleport forward once initiative starts so just buff up on the edge and then run in
Thank you so much for this commentary video, i was able to finish my honour run in 5h 36mins (i messed up orin fight by not casting invis on jaheria and respeced into different classes like 30 times to fix it🙄🙄). Every strat worked for me in patch 7. I was really upset bkz in my previous coop honour run i dropped just after killing the netherbrain and i couldn't reconnect the session (game didn't allowed it) so this video just made my day!
@@ojyochan you need to throw the invisbility potion when your character are already in cutscene by switching to a dead character or the mage hand. you can´t do it before the cutscene
Is there a trick to throwing the bombs at Kethric? I could not get it to work (said it was too far or would only throw individually). Ended in a glitch that blew up my Tav and ended the run completely >_< I guess it decided that I was throwing them at my feet and that warranted an explosion. I thought maybe it had been patched, but your comment made me think twice.
@Birdi_TM you select "place in world" then throw action, select from world and then select target. But I've been having problems with random bugged bombs that blow me up, not just the first ones purchased he mentioned
Update Dec '24: the mashing pickpocket glitch was fixed so this method of skipping a lot of the assassin quest is much harder, requiring enhance ability, invisibility, and perhaps pickpocket expertise, it could be optimized further but we just reset until we got it. Easy enough to make a camp follower with one level in rogue though. Also we found that Gale doesn't need any magic items in act 1 just grab him and rush to act 2, elminster should appear on long rest; saves a lot of time because triggering the orb hunger is very inconsistent and unpredictable it turns out. ~~~ Thanks for your video!! Got my golden die in a relatively painless 12hrs thanks to adapting this run. (I didn't care about the actual speed obviously, and this was pre patch 7 but maybe my version will survive) I did it on nondurge, so act 3 looked different for me, and i also recruited gale for the netherbrain fight. (Very easy to find a few magic items to spare so elminster grants you the stabilized orb). Commenting mainly to mention that on console/controller you CAN make the jump from the top displacer beast area in the guantlet of shar down to the shadowfell door; it just requires very precise camera work and jump timing. Probably less frustrating to 1) drink an invisibility potion and do soft step trial although that might not be as fast 2) misty step the faith leap trial if youre not scared of dying unpredictably 3) or telling yurgir to off himself with charisma checks, but they are pretty high stakes. Then you have the one orb as mentioned in the video. In act 3 i pickpocket mr red dwarf assassin to impress the murder tribunal and get the amulet of bhaal, that was the major deviation from the run here apart from feeding gale. (Technically i think it's a glitch to mash the pickpocket button to mitigate misses until you roll a 20, i probably had to reload too) I messed up with the vendor bomb stacks so had to get creative with fire vs ketheric/myrkul. I think i had to let kharnis kill SH too after picking up the lamp. It was scuffed throughout and had to pivot a lot on the fly, but now i can patiently enjoy my honor runs in peace with a gold die. :) cheers and good luck to anyone else attempting to get their gold d20 fast!
@@thegifting267 Yup, being good at the game. I finished my run using invisible potions approaching the Karsus Crown, and defeating the Brain using my most powerful attacks, X2 potions and a lot of RNG. If everything goes wrong, close the game via task manager repeatly, deactivate auto-saves. Yeah, I know, it's pretty lame, but that's the only way to not waste 40hrs of my life hahah
I couldn't do the basket trick, so I just had Shart drink an invisibility potion (I'd bought from Roah in the goblin camp) after picking up the moon lantern.
Thank you @ChronosReturns ! Got my Gold Dice this evening on PS5! A slower run for me to get more cash & using Gale for the ending after multiple fails doing the invis potion route from this video, but so relieved to get it done! Thanks again!
@@blackeyekin9300 I got Jaheira there first, that clears all the enemies on the tower through the cut scenes. I then moved Gale up there as I didn’t want to risk it, so invisibility and crouch to pass through courtyard area as his jumping was rubbish, which worked a treat. So blooming tense though! Massive sigh of relief when it all played out! Artifacts - I just gave him the one - Gloves from the Tollhouse basement in Act 1. Went there to get stuff to sell to make sure of enough cash for respecing characters. Then make sure to rest to get Elminster before heading to Ketheric. Otherwise Gale leaves. Then, make sure to have him in the party before heading to the Morphic pools. There are certain chats to have after that to ensure he is up for the sacrifice.
@@wojtekmikoajczak9744 I did - same method as his video. Have you made sure to have the ring equipped? That does the extra damage. Also make sure to be throwing it at the ground by him, not directly at him. But otherwise the same. Had a few probs with the bug where it blows you up, but think that was when Shadowheart leaves the party it might have been adding her duff bombs to mine? So next run to be safe, I passed them to Gale, and no more probs, just followed the steps. Hardest part was the Orin throw - so hard on PS5.
I just used this video for my honor mode run and it worked perfectly! I’ll reply to my own comments with some things that I had to change/adapt to on Xbox (in case anyone runs into similar issues) :
- I didn’t need the second speed potion for the githyanki fight, but it definitely would have helped. I wasn’t able to loot a second one due to RNG. -when recruiting jeheira, she was bugged and wasn’t listed as an ally, despite being playable/in my party. This meant the enlarge spell and the peerless focus never worked on her. For the final fight and Orin toss, I gave laezel a hill giant potion and all the buffs and had her replace jaheira. -console sucks at point and click mechanics, so sometimes I had to take slightly different jump routes. In the area after you take the boat to the end game area, I had to make jaheira jump on the plant/vine bridge thing and then to the right high ground. - I recruited astarian so he could pick pocket withers. - moon lantern part, I sent both shadow and laezel down there so laezel could grab the lantern and transport it to my inventory. Both companions died but withers revive was fine. - the mountain pass area you have to cast fog cloud and jump around the enemies, but they would detect me nearly every time but if you get far enough away just flee combat and go back to map and you should be fine to progress without dying. - in the shadowlands, I sent my companions to camp but when I returned to camp they were dead? I think they bugged out and fell to the darkness blight but I would manually go to camp to dismiss them. - because you can’t reload a save, technically* you can force close the game on Xbox and when you reload, it’ll take you back to the previous save. - gortash dialogue to prevent agro: refuse to give him stones and bargain with him that you split the stones.
Just because there are a number of comments stating that Patch 7 broke the invisibility glitch, I'm here to testify that it works today (05-JAN-25). Please take note that Chronos starts climbing the brain stem first with Jaheira, and ONLY THEN clicks a dead party member to be able to select the mage hands during the cutscene. By the time the characters are made invisible, the forced removal of invisibility has already happened, and that's why they are safe. Thank you, Chronos, I really wanted to get this done, pre-patch 8. I couldn't have done it without you.
Finally DID IT! Thank you soooooo much for this guide. It took me a lot of tries but this morning I got it! I lost count of how many attempts this took me! Thank you!
I didnt speed run it. I completed up to act 2 and used cherub mask to complete honor run. I just used some of the strategy from this video. Total game time for honour achievement 22 hrs.
Tried my best to copy the exact same things on a PS5 on patch 7 and it's doable but inconsistent af. Things I maybe missed while following was the bugged bombs for Ketheric but I always have a backup for big things so I was able to split and throw and test which of the bombs were bugged. For the final boss fight I don't know if I'm doing it too fast with the mage hand trick but whenever I do it and the Mage Hands spawn with me whether they're invisible or not the fight starts so I added an extra step where I summon mage hands for both Dark Urge and Jaheira, Jaheira enhanced leap then climb to enter the cutscene, Dark Urge Mage Hand throw invisible potion, Jaheira Mage Hand do the same. change to Dead Lae'zel then change to mage hand of Tav and dismiss it. Scene automatically comes back to the cutscene so change back to Dead Lae'zel again, change to mage hand Jaheira and dismiss it as well. It's what worked for me. I don't know if I did it wrong again too but when I use the crown on the thing at the end Jaheira always started the fight so the sequence is wrong. I just used perilous strike on Dark Urge, levitate down and drop the fireworks and levitate back up and use perilous strike on herself while my Jaheira was dominated by the mindflayers outside lmao. After everyone's turn is done then I throw the alchemist fire. For safety measures I probably could've used a Globe of Invulnerability with that turn where Jaheira came first or throw a speed potion or cast haste scroll on Dark Urge and just leave Jaheira outside. I know this is not a guide so everything's not really explained but this was my experience. I did it in 8 hours for those who just want to complete an honour mode run :) Great video btw
Thanks so much for this video. So hard to find speedrun vids that guide others too. I finally got the dice thanks to you!! Funny thing, your speedrun from a few months ago (48 min one) was the first video of yours i found, and when you got to the kethric fight in that video you didnt say aloud to equip the ring in that one and the bombs and i lost the save file 😮. Turns out i just needed to click on this video to realize what i did wrong 🤣 Good stuff!
did this in tactician for practice and just finished my honor mode run today, thank you for this!! i probably never wouldve gotten the achievement otherwise lol
This is great and all but the best thing about this genre of game is that you get to take your time, relax, and immerse yourself. This is like watching a movie on fast forward 😅
38:43 just tried. No issue at console (PS5). Had elixir of hill giant. One weird thing is however that if you imagine the pit you threw Orin in in a bird perspective, you have to pretty much aim to the center of the pit. When it shows 'death', then you throw her, far deeper then you should be able to, but it works just fine 👍
@@sifvydiv simply sacrifice the one taking the lantern. The other character should be out of combat and take the lantern from the inventory. When Karniss and gang are gone, resurrect your companion
thank you but i have one more question, in act 3 (console) where do you find the second invisibility potion? i cant seem to find it anywhere and i dont remember him picking up a second..
@@sifvydiv 1st potion 10:56 , 2nd potion 35:30. If you don't do speedrun, you can simply buy more from shop. Important: definitely get rid of the first smokepowder bombs you buy from vendor, they explode in your face. He uses 8 bombs for ketheric, and 10 for phase 2. Make that 9 for ketheric, and 11 for rest. Try not to get the party dead screen. Normally, you can restart from previous save, but if you play on console, it will put you from honour mode to custom mode (learned from my mistakes). Lastly, disable auto save under options. Good luck.
@CursedZorthan i completely missed it 😭 i was too focused on where he was going i didnt even notice- thank you so much! i really appreciate the help, you're amazing
Followed this video for a console run and got it eventually. Some tips for people based on my experience and failed runs - get subtle metamagic, crouch before misty stepping out of the pods under moonrise, and good luck!
Many thanks! Thanks to you, I completed Honor Mode with my PS5/controller. Thank you, and everyone in the comments, for sharing your expertise and showing new ways to experience BG3.
I finally was able to do this speed run on a ps5 in 1:41:31.45. Thank you for the strats. Just wish I could skip the cutscenes as fast as a pc and stop the timer on loading screens. I'm hoping for a better setup next time.
I used your speed run as a base to get my achievement. It took a couple times, because I had to adjust to things that didn't work on controller (which usually got me in trouble, like the durge companion scene triggering), but today I finished the honor run. ❤ Thanks a lot
I'm also trying this with a controller, may I ask how you managed to get the moon lantern? I can't seem to drag it into the basket like he did in the video
@@tiredteo You have to sacrifice at least one person. I usually do two (SH and Lae'zel), because it's easier. Do the talk bit with Kar'niss until he starts walking, then get the second person, which shouldn't be Gale due to necrotic aura, (also don't forget the torch to avoid shadow sickness or whatever it's called) right next to Kar'niss. Get into turn-based mode. Use command drop with SH and when successful grab the lantern with second person. You can send it right over to durge in the item section to start the pixie cut scene. SH and the other person will probably be killed. You can resurrect them with a scroll or Withers. I usually do it with Withers, because of full health and I always recruit Astarion for easy pickpocketing of Withers, who doesn't care. You may have to wait to get enough money in Last Light Inn, if you don't have the 200-400 gold. You may manage with SH alone without turn-based, but Kar'niss always picks the lantern up too quickly for me to get to it in time. Hope that helps!
@@tiredteo Ignore that (no offense at all, just have a much simpler way!) Simply send Shadowheart down like he does and have her pick it up. Literally the second she picks it up, go to camp. The cutscene will play there and you are free to continue.
@@StopReadingMyNameOrElse No offense taken. Glad that worked for you. Everyone aggroed the moment I picked it up, so I didn't have time to do anything else and had to find a workaround.
Edit*** Checked the GDQ speedrun and now I understand it better! Got to pop em DURING the cutscene, got it EDIT #2 : Well my PB is now 2 hours, thanks to you! And me doing way too much safety moves. Thank you buddy, you are awesome.
One might argue that throwing 10 bombs at the same time is also considered a glitch, but at this point this "mechanic" has existed till this day and they refuse to fix it, so its really hard to define what a glitch is and what isnt. Anyways that were some interesting methods I didnt know good vid
After patch 7, you can’t successfully huck the smokepowder bombs at KT or Myrkul from the platform. They hit some kind of invisible wall and explode in your face. You can still chuck them from below the Myrkul spawn area, though.
Possible suggestion for entering the Gauntlet of Shar (the knockback "puzzle"): My typical method of doing this (non-speed running) has always been turn based mode and then misty stepping into it. I have not tried the same idea with jump, but I know for certain that if you've in turn based and just portal directly in you can hit the "Shar button" before the knockback occurs. I just feel like it might be slightly faster to do that (directly jump into it in turn based mode) then the jump to the side/walking the edge (ASSUMING it works with jump like it does misty step). Food for thought.
You can directly jump through with the correct positioning for it which is the fastest way, and you can jump through before the knockback occurs as well, there's many different ways to do it. I just felt like doing it this way since it shows that you can also memorize the puzzle as well.
When I tried this invisibility will always break once Jahera touches the brain stem at the end, I've taken a look at this and apparently being able to open the portal in 1 turn has been patches out or this is a glitch, also patch 7 dropped as I was doing this so I'm thinking Larian just wants to screw all of us out of doing this
@@TheRealDurge From testing, the only difference in the run is that if you fail casting Command: Drop on Kar'niss you'll make all the enemies there aggressive. Otherwise, Patch 6 and 7 have no differences as far as I can tell.
I've been attempting this and for some reason at the Ketheric fight my smokepowder bombs detonate immediately when I throw them, killing my durge and killing my run... consistently happened 2 or 3 times now and I'm not sure if its a bug or something else?? there's nothing for them to hit and detonate on so I guess they're detonating on themselves?
He mentions it in the video but I missed it the first time too. The first smoke bombs you buy from a vendor are bugged. When you buy the first stack give them to Shadowheart so that you don't use them. I just tried the Kethric fight myself and the smoke bombs didn't explode in my hand.
This is why my throw exploses ... At first I thought it was because of my torch in my back, at second I tought it was the air on fire which ignites/exploses them (I tested on crashed nautiloïd) and finally I tested with one less bomb to work and thought my charcater was lack of force and throw on his feet ... No just a bug, not a feature ... sad.
@@goofballantics I remembered him mentioning it, just because it is such a weird and very specific bug, that it makes you (or at least me) wonder how that could ever creep into the game code.
Patch 7. Currently following your guide to speedrun honor mode and I am having issue in the section where you escape from balthazar lab. The enemy placement is different and the enemy that is closest to balthazar ( towards the exit door ) has now increased vision and there is no space where to misty step, they see me right away even with my invisible spell. I literally tried for 2 hours but no luck. Anyone run into same issue?
I hope other people won't be dumb like me and fail to realize the method for stacking bombs. You have to go into character sheet, select place (bomb) in world, then set them down next to you. Then select throw from the action wheels, select item from world, then you can throw all the bombs you placed next to PC at once.😅
Can someone please explain how he isnt spending spell slots to buff with enhance jump and feather fall? Timestamps such as 7:52 he buffs shart without using any spell slots...trying to follow this guide but keep using my slots thanks
Have to be a ritual magic caster (in this case, a sorceror). Casting Enhance Leap and Feather Fall out of combat is free. If you cast it in the middle of combat, it then costs a spell slot.
On current version of the game unfortunately, I can't seem to throw the giths into the void in the Orpheus fight Edit: Apparently I'm dumb! You are supposed to use Throw action and NOT Improvised melee weapon action. Throw works excellent!
24:30 hi im having a weird issue around this part. i throw the 8 bombs at ketheric perfectly fine right, then when i throw the 10 bombs at myrkul they explode on me and i gotta reload (its not a legit honor mode run anyways lets be honest), anyone think they know why this happens?
When I tried to recreate this run, I threw the eight smokepowder bombs at Kethric, and each one rolled nearly minimum damage. His goons then quickly killed us
Just lost my Honour Mode run at 80hrs, right before the Upper City, due to the wrong dialogue choice that resulted in a game over screen. So now I'm just gonna follow this guide! EDIT: Took a few attempts, but I got the golden dice with a 1h 30m playthrough. Thank you!
What are the changes to this run after patch 7, im hearing theres a problem with the ketheric fight with the bombs, and not being abt to go invisible in the final fight, are there any workarounds that will make this run possible?
Debating if i should knock out honour mode with this now before patch 7. Im about to finish act 1 of my get all achievements/trophy run. Would obviously lead to some spoilers...
You can I just did it. My first time I messed up but I realized when he did it he drops the bombs on the ground and then throws them, if you are like me you threw them right from your inventory and they don’t work that way
I was at the end and got both Jaheira and my Tav invisible with mage hand, throw invis potion. However, the game forced Jaheira and tav to be visible after the cutscene. Run over :( Was this patched?
It shouldn't be patched, but you do need to have Jaheira, your Durge, and both mage hands to be invisible as well, so all of your party including the mage hands needs to be invisible
@@ChronosReturns thanks for the follow up. I tested this a couple times on my defunct save and couldn’t get it for some reason (both mage hands invisible, both characters invisible still resulted in the player characters being made visible when cutscene triggered). The mage hands remained invisible coincidentally. I think the key was starting the cutscene then making the character invisible (which you covered in your tutorial series). You were moving through this section pretty quick, so maybe I missed the part where you started the cutscene and switched. All that to say, instead of the ending you did here, I made sure (1) Lae Zel and Jaheira jump off of the map at the beginning, and (2) that I start the final cutscene before throwing the invis potion on to my Tav. After I posted this comment I managed to put a full run together :) super appreciate your videos. I’ve always loved speed running but this was the first speed run I’ve ever actually completed. Great work!!!
Could you tell me what I'm doing wrong: In the finale, I summon a hand with Jeyhera and the main character, throw a bottle of invisibility with my hand so that both the hand and its owner become invisible. I lift Jeyhera up the pole - everyone immediately attacks me, but the hero is visible. What's wrong? Or does this method not work in patch 7?
you are bringing the hands into the fight with you and agroing the enemies, you need to drag the hand away from your characters pic so it is a seperate entity. Then wait for the mage hands to despawn on their own once youve thrown the potions and the cutscene will start by its self.
@@dommynatrix8226 Thanks for the answer, but it didn't help. The hands are separated from the characters. I throw potions with my hands so that both the hand and the character become invisible, Jeyhera stands next to the pillar itself. After the hands disappear, the dialogue icon to the left of the character does not appear, and the cutscene does not start. Maybe I'm missing something else?
Heres what i did yesterday and it worked. Get Jeyhera in position, drop the potion on the ground next to her then swap to durge and do the same. Then, whilst still on durge, cast magehand and drag it off you then swap to Jayhera and do the same. Then whist still Jeyhera, click on the brain stem and quickly swap laezel as shown in the vid. Now you can swap to the separated mage hands and throw the potions. Then just wait for them to despawn and you should get the cutscene automatically and the enemies wont be agrod.
@@dommynatrix8226 Finally I did it! I used the method from the previous Chronos video: th-cam.com/video/juqmZ2gP8JU/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=Chronos I started a dialogue with the pillar of Jeyhera, and switched to the dead Lazel, and from there to the hands, distributing invisibility potions with them. Thank you and @ChronosReturns for everything :)
There's one thing I've wondered about, does it go faster to buy the granades instead of "stealing" them? And no, I'm not talking about pickpocket, but when you open up one bag in traders vendor, and put stuff in there, then open up another bag in your inventory and shift + click all items then drag them to the bag (needs to be the icon above the slots while the bag is open) Reason I've wondered is cause you can even stack them inside the bag at the vendor before getting em all in one fell swoop. It just feels like it might be faster than running around selling stuff, instead you just need to find 2 bags or containers (could be barrels if u so wish).
Update. Also smokepowder bomb bug hurts hard. Can you make an updated voice over to really stress the importance to some of the smaller details you breezed over?
Used this to get my first honour completion, as the patch 7 honour changes scared me. There’s two speed potions by the rock near Astarion, u need to succeed a nature roll to get them, plus u can just use astarion later on, for the Smoke bombs instead of a hireling. However this adds more time, so ain’t a good speedrun start but very helpful for a casual completion.
Yes, speed potions by the rock with Astarion is what I used for my GDQ run, it's a safe back up strat. Recruiting other characters is also nice as a back up, but can result in more cutscenes to go through too.
@YouSayRoll I’m having the same issue that you did. My bombs are basically doing no damage, even if I use 10 of them. I toss the bombs beside him and it’s still doing nothing. any recommendations?
@@thegifting267 Alas no. The way I eventually did it was by using 9 bombs on the man and 10 on the aspect. Maybe just try and throw them in the exact same spot? Also not sure if new patch's will have changed anything. Also also, make sure you have the ring equipped as that deals extra damage with the bombs and is super important. Good luck.
quick question, how do you kill ketheric and bone king with a single bomb? do they fell down or something? I throw tons of bomb at them during the battle, and it just dealt normal damage
I'm trying to do this on PS5 and the smokepowder bombs keep exploding as soon as I throw them. Is there a trick to placing and then throwing the bombs? Playing on the most recent patch, if that helps.
Great run! I will try to copy it in order to get my last trophy. One question: of I beat the game in Honor mode, will I unlock also the trophy for Tactician or I need do to two separate runs?
You need to make sure the spot you're throwing Orin is at a place where it says death with it being highlighted red. Just simply throwing off the edge will not properly work.
There`s another place you can jump down in the temple, you just need box to stand on, so you have a clean line down. By the way. door with 3 spheres has holes. I managed to blink through it, but I don`t use glithes in my 1hp no dice(=no randomness allowed except initiative) solo tactician run. I`m allowed to see my beautiful golden dice only 4 times in the game, when brain forces me. can`t even unlock stuff)
Damn I totally messed up at the end, I mistakenly had Jaheira end her first turn, and she was mind controlled by one of the enemies in the turn order, effectively ruining the run... Luckily, I had a speed potion (I went to grab the 2 by the coast/beach at the beginning) and just used Perilous Stakes on myself, laid down all the fireworks and flew away and let it rip... Damn lucky for that speed potion... *lol* Took me 3 hours but "Honour" mode has been completed, and my last achievement accomplished...
Try zooming out to the max angle you can by holding down on the right thumbstick if you're on controller. If you're on keyboard and mouse you just need to toggle your tactical camera by pressing the key which I believe is "O" by default. Otherwise it's impossible to tell without video.
I cant understand why everyone can open the door at Shars trials with "Knock"... My shadow Crystals are bugged but i also cant open the door with Knock, it always says "invalid target". So i'm locked out of Nightsongs prison..
He explains that in the video, the first set of bombs u get from store are the issue, if u wanna make 100% sure and don't fully care about "speeding" just getting through the honor run. Then get some granades at first, then give em to another character (possibly even hire one) have them throw them, if it explodoes, repeat it with a new set. If it does, then just go from there.
I'm unable to subtle spell misty step out of the pods at 21:46. No matter where i teleport to, whether its inside or outside an enemies field of vision, combat immediately triggers. On Xbox if that matters. Can anyone confirm this still works?
on ps5 it worked no problems, you need to be invisible when you trigger the cutscene before the pods, and as soon as the cutscene ends you need to enter turn based mode, and only then escape the pod and invis yourself again all in 1 turn

@ChronosReturns Thanks to your videos I was able to complete my Ps5 honor mode run in a little under 5 hours. There were a few adjustments I needed to make, since I am running on the current patch but I was able to get this done thanks to you!
I got honour mode trophy today on my ps5 thanks to your guide. Thank you!
THA GOAT
thanks for the guide. Got my golden dice now I can enjoy honor mode without the worry
Didn't the bombs explode in your hand? mine did on my first try
@@devicefps The first bombs you buy from the shop are bugged and will explode in your face when thrown. You need to give them to Shadowheart right after you purchase the first set in order to not get them mixed up with your good bombs.
@ thank you so much! I'll try that on this run. In the middle of one right now ^_^
Way to go!!! Gonna have to go watch the GDQ run after this!
Just finished my honour mode for the first time because of this. Thank you!
You were getting into act 3 while I'm still trying to get off the nautiloid. Amazing. XD
~~~
Thanks for your video!! Got my golden die in a relatively painless 12hrs thanks to adapting this run. (I didn't care about the actual speed obviously, and this was pre patch 7 but maybe my version will survive)
I did it on nondurge, so act 3 looked different for me, and i also recruited gale for the netherbrain fight. (Very easy to find a few magic items to spare so elminster grants you the stabilized orb).
Commenting mainly to mention that on console/controller you CAN make the jump from the top displacer beast area in the guantlet of shar down to the shadowfell door; it just requires very precise camera work and jump timing. Probably less frustrating to 1) drink an invisibility potion and do soft step trial although that might not be as fast 2) misty step the faith leap trial if youre not scared of dying unpredictably 3) or telling yurgir to off himself with charisma checks, but they are pretty high stakes. Then you have the one orb as mentioned in the video.
In act 3 i pickpocket mr red dwarf assassin to impress the murder tribunal and get the amulet of bhaal, that was the major deviation from the run here apart from feeding gale. (Technically i think it's a glitch to mash the pickpocket button to mitigate misses until you roll a 20, i probably had to reload too)
I messed up with the vendor bomb stacks so had to get creative with fire vs ketheric/myrkul. I think i had to let kharnis kill SH too after picking up the lamp. It was scuffed throughout and had to pivot a lot on the fly, but now i can patiently enjoy my honor runs in peace with a gold die. :) cheers and good luck to anyone else attempting to get their gold d20 fast!
Did anything in Patch 7 break this guide? I was about to start a run.
@@jameshope3652 Yeah, the end, you can't use invisible potions for the final boss
@mmujicab.sirius Is there any way you can actually finish the boss then?
@@thegifting267 Yup, being good at the game.
Yeah, I know, it's pretty lame, but that's the only way to not waste 40hrs of my life hahah
Thanks again!
Did u use bombs on kethric? When I tried it they took like half of his health bar
did you have to get gale to the brain stem or does he appear when you open the door
what about feeding him artifacts
@@blackeyekin9300 I got Jaheira there first, that clears all the enemies on the tower through the cut scenes.
I then moved Gale up there as I didn’t want to risk it, so invisibility and crouch to pass through courtyard area as his jumping was rubbish, which worked a treat.
So blooming tense though! Massive sigh of relief when it all played out!
Artifacts - I just gave him the one - Gloves from the Tollhouse basement in Act 1. Went there to get stuff to sell to make sure of enough cash for respecing characters.
Then make sure to rest to get Elminster before heading to Ketheric. Otherwise Gale leaves.
Then, make sure to have him in the party before heading to the Morphic pools. There are certain chats to have after that to ensure he is up for the sacrifice.
@@wojtekmikoajczak9744 I did - same method as his video. Have you made sure to have the ring equipped? That does the extra damage. Also make sure to be throwing it at the ground by him, not directly at him.
But otherwise the same. Had a few probs with the bug where it blows you up, but think that was when Shadowheart leaves the party it might have been adding her duff bombs to mine? So next run to be safe, I passed them to Gale, and no more probs, just followed the steps.
@@rhysh7390exactly as you said, thanks. had gale standing at the stem and hit the orb through ability wheel....fml guess I'll have to do it again
I just used this video for my honor mode run and it worked perfectly!
I’ll reply to my own comments with some things that I had to change/adapt to on Xbox (in case anyone runs into similar issues) :
- I didn’t need the second speed potion for the githyanki fight, but it definitely would have helped. I wasn’t able to loot a second one due to RNG.
-when recruiting jeheira, she was bugged and wasn’t listed as an ally, despite being playable/in my party. This meant the enlarge spell and the peerless focus never worked on her. For the final fight and Orin toss, I gave laezel a hill giant potion and all the buffs and had her replace jaheira.
-console sucks at point and click mechanics, so sometimes I had to take slightly different jump routes. In the area after you take the boat to the end game area, I had to make jaheira jump on the plant/vine bridge thing and then to the right high ground.
- I recruited astarian so he could pick pocket withers.
- moon lantern part, I sent both shadow and laezel down there so laezel could grab the lantern and transport it to my inventory. Both companions died but withers revive was fine.
- the mountain pass area you have to cast fog cloud and jump around the enemies, but they would detect me nearly every time but if you get far enough away just flee combat and go back to map and you should be fine to progress without dying.
- in the shadowlands, I sent my companions to camp but when I returned to camp they were dead? I think they bugged out and fell to the darkness blight but I would manually go to camp to dismiss them.
- because you can’t reload a save, technically* you can force close the game on Xbox and when you reload, it’ll take you back to the previous save.
- gortash dialogue to prevent agro: refuse to give him stones and bargain with him that you split the stones.
No idea firebolting the body would open bhaals doorway. Learned something new, thanks.
Just to clarify, it's not specific to firebolt, you just need to hit the body so that it bleeds down on the platform. Ranged will work as well.
Just because there are a number of comments stating that Patch 7 broke the invisibility glitch, I'm here to testify that it works today (05-JAN-25). Please take note that Chronos starts climbing the brain stem first with Jaheira, and ONLY THEN clicks a dead party member to be able to select the mage hands during the cutscene. By the time the characters are made invisible, the forced removal of invisibility has already happened, and that's why they are safe.
Thank you, Chronos, I really wanted to get this done, pre-patch 8. I couldn't have done it without you.
the enemies are already alert for me tho
Finally DID IT! Thank you soooooo much for this guide. It took me a lot of tries but this morning I got it! I lost count of how many attempts this took me! Thank you!
Thank you for this . Last achievement on the list. Ive had a blast on each playthrough
Did the bombs on Ketheric work for you? They don't do enough damage for me on easy mode
I didnt speed run it. I completed up to act 2 and used cherub mask to complete honor run. I just used some of the strategy from this video. Total game time for honour achievement 22 hrs.
Tried my best to copy the exact same things on a PS5 on patch 7 and it's doable but inconsistent af. Things I maybe missed while following was the bugged bombs for Ketheric but I always have a backup for big things so I was able to split and throw and test which of the bombs were bugged. For the final boss fight I don't know if I'm doing it too fast with the mage hand trick but whenever I do it and the Mage Hands spawn with me whether they're invisible or not the fight starts so I added an extra step where I summon mage hands for both Dark Urge and Jaheira, Jaheira enhanced leap then climb to enter the cutscene, Dark Urge Mage Hand throw invisible potion, Jaheira Mage Hand do the same. change to Dead Lae'zel then change to mage hand of Tav and dismiss it. Scene automatically comes back to the cutscene so change back to Dead Lae'zel again, change to mage hand Jaheira and dismiss it as well. It's what worked for me. I don't know if I did it wrong again too but when I use the crown on the thing at the end Jaheira always started the fight so the sequence is wrong. I just used perilous strike on Dark Urge, levitate down and drop the fireworks and levitate back up and use perilous strike on herself while my Jaheira was dominated by the mindflayers outside lmao. After everyone's turn is done then I throw the alchemist fire. For safety measures I probably could've used a Globe of Invulnerability with that turn where Jaheira came first or throw a speed potion or cast haste scroll on Dark Urge and just leave Jaheira outside. I know this is not a guide so everything's not really explained but this was my experience. I did it in 8 hours for those who just want to complete an honour mode run :) Great video btw
38:43 just tried. No issue at console (PS5). Had elixir of hill giant. When it shows 'death', then you throw her, far deeper then you should be able to, but it works just fine 👍
I used your speed run as a base to get my achievement. It took a couple times, because I had to adjust to things that didn't work on controller (which usually got me in trouble, like the durge companion scene triggering), but today I finished the honor run. ❤ Thanks a lot
I'm also trying this with a controller, may I ask how you managed to get the moon lantern? I can't seem to drag it into the basket like he did in the video
@@tiredteo You have to sacrifice at least one person. I usually do two (SH and Lae'zel), because it's easier. Do the talk bit with Kar'niss until he starts walking, then get the second person, which shouldn't be Gale due to necrotic aura, (also don't forget the torch to avoid shadow sickness or whatever it's called) right next to Kar'niss. Get into turn-based mode. Use command drop with SH and when successful grab the lantern with second person. You can send it right over to durge in the item section to start the pixie cut scene. SH and the other person will probably be killed. You can resurrect them with a scroll or Withers. I usually do it with Withers, because of full health and I always recruit Astarion for easy pickpocketing of Withers, who doesn't care. You may have to wait to get enough money in Last Light Inn, if you don't have the 200-400 gold. You may manage with SH alone without turn-based, but Kar'niss always picks the lantern up too quickly for me to get to it in time. Hope that helps!
Possible suggestion for entering the Gauntlet of Shar (the knockback "puzzle"): My typical method of doing this (non-speed running) has always been turn based mode and then misty stepping into it. I have not tried the same idea with jump, but I know for certain that if you've in turn based and just portal directly in you can hit the "Shar button" before the knockback occurs. I just feel like it might be slightly faster to do that (directly jump into it in turn based mode) then the jump to the side/walking the edge (ASSUMING it works with jump like it does misty step). Food for thought.
You can directly jump through with the correct positioning for it which is the fastest way, and you can jump through before the knockback occurs as well, there's many different ways to do it. I just felt like doing it this way since it shows that you can also memorize the puzzle as well.
When I tried this invisibility will always break once Jahera touches the brain stem at the end, I've taken a look at this and apparently being able to open the portal in 1 turn has been patches out or this is a glitch, also patch 7 dropped as I was doing this so I'm thinking Larian just wants to screw all of us out of doing this
I'll be taking a look at Patch 7 stuff when I get the chance, most likely issues that differ from the video may be from the new patch.
So basically since patch 7 hasn't released on console we're actually at an advantage?
@@TheRealDurge From testing, the only difference in the run is that if you fail casting Command: Drop on Kar'niss you'll make all the enemies there aggressive. Otherwise, Patch 6 and 7 have no differences as far as I can tell.
I've been attempting this and for some reason at the Ketheric fight my smokepowder bombs detonate immediately when I throw them, killing my durge and killing my run... consistently happened 2 or 3 times now and I'm not sure if its a bug or something else?? there's nothing for them to hit and detonate on so I guess they're detonating on themselves?
He mentions it in the video but I missed it the first time too. The first smoke bombs you buy from a vendor are bugged. When you buy the first stack give them to Shadowheart so that you don't use them. I just tried the Kethric fight myself and the smoke bombs didn't explode in my hand.
This is why my throw exploses ... At first I thought it was because of my torch in my back, at second I tought it was the air on fire which ignites/exploses them (I tested on crashed nautiloïd) and finally I tested with one less bomb to work and thought my charcater was lack of force and throw on his feet ... No just a bug, not a feature ... sad.
@@goofballantics I remembered him mentioning it, just because it is such a weird and very specific bug, that it makes you (or at least me) wonder how that could ever creep into the game code.
Have to be a ritual magic caster (in this case, a sorceror). Casting Enhance Leap and Feather Fall out of combat is free. If you cast it in the middle of combat, it then costs a spell slot.
feather fall and enhance jump are ritual spells, they don't cost spell slots if you cast them out of combat
this was great, appreciate it
On current version of the game unfortunately, I can't seem to throw the giths into the void in the Orpheus fight
Edit:
Apparently I'm dumb! You are supposed to use Throw action and NOT Improvised melee weapon action. Throw works excellent!
You saved me mate! I was so angry it wasn't working, but it did, sadly one of them killed my durge so I had to restart
Thanks!!!
Why did my 8 bombs that I Threw next to kethric took almost half of his hp only?
Make sure you equipped the Callous Glow Ring and threw the stack of bombs on the ground next to the enemy, not on the enemy.
24:30 hi im having a weird issue around this part. i throw the 8 bombs at ketheric perfectly fine right, then when i throw the 10 bombs at myrkul they explode on me and i gotta reload (its not a legit honor mode run anyways lets be honest), anyone think they know why this happens?
the first bombs you buy from talli are bugged and you just send em to camp and ignore them, thats a rip from me :(
When I tried to recreate this run, I threw the eight smokepowder bombs at Kethric, and each one rolled nearly minimum damage. His goons then quickly killed us
Make sure you throw the bombs at the ground next to Ketheric and Myrkul, not directly at them.
Just lost my Honour Mode run at 80hrs, right before the Upper City, due to the wrong dialogue choice that resulted in a game over screen. So now I'm just gonna follow this guide!
EDIT: Took a few attempts, but I got the golden dice with a 1h 30m playthrough. Thank you!
why is there no glitchless category in speedrun
What are the changes to this run after patch 7, im hearing theres a problem with the ketheric fight with the bombs, and not being abt to go invisible in the final fight, are there any workarounds that will make this run possible?
Debating if i should knock out honour mode with this now before patch 7. Im about to finish act 1 of my get all achievements/trophy run. Would obviously lead to some spoilers...
24:50 You can not kill myrkul like this after patch 7
Not sure what to do here...
You can I just did it. My first time I messed up but I realized when he did it he drops the bombs on the ground and then throws them, if you are like me you threw them right from your inventory and they don’t work that way
@centurax4461 they kept exploding in my hand, I didn't realize that the first set of bombs from that trader are glitched
I was at the end and got both Jaheira and my Tav invisible with mage hand, throw invis potion. However, the game forced Jaheira and tav to be visible after the cutscene. Run over :( Was this patched?
It shouldn't be patched, but you do need to have Jaheira, your Durge, and both mage hands to be invisible as well, so all of your party including the mage hands needs to be invisible
I did it just now, it wasn't patched, at least not yet
@@ChronosReturns thanks for the follow up. I tested this a couple times on my defunct save and couldn’t get it for some reason (both mage hands invisible, both characters invisible still resulted in the player characters being made visible when cutscene triggered). The mage hands remained invisible coincidentally.
I think the key was starting the cutscene then making the character invisible (which you covered in your tutorial series). You were moving through this section pretty quick, so maybe I missed the part where you started the cutscene and switched.
All that to say, instead of the ending you did here, I made sure (1) Lae Zel and Jaheira jump off of the map at the beginning, and (2) that I start the final cutscene before throwing the invis potion on to my Tav.
After I posted this comment I managed to put a full run together :) super appreciate your videos. I’ve always loved speed running but this was the first speed run I’ve ever actually completed. Great work!!!
Could you tell me what I'm doing wrong:
In the finale, I summon a hand with Jeyhera and the main character, throw a bottle of invisibility with my hand so that both the hand and its owner become invisible. I lift Jeyhera up the pole - everyone immediately attacks me, but the hero is visible. What's wrong? Or does this method not work in patch 7?
you are bringing the hands into the fight with you and agroing the enemies, you need to drag the hand away from your characters pic so it is a seperate entity. Then wait for the mage hands to despawn on their own once youve thrown the potions and the cutscene will start by its self.
@@dommynatrix8226 Thanks for the answer, but it didn't help. The hands are separated from the characters. I throw potions with my hands so that both the hand and the character become invisible, Jeyhera stands next to the pillar itself. After the hands disappear, the dialogue icon to the left of the character does not appear, and the cutscene does not start. Maybe I'm missing something else?
Heres what i did yesterday and it worked. Get Jeyhera in position, drop the potion on the ground next to her then swap to durge and do the same. Then, whilst still on durge, cast magehand and drag it off you then swap to Jayhera and do the same. Then whist still Jeyhera, click on the brain stem and quickly swap laezel as shown in the vid. Now you can swap to the separated mage hands and throw the potions. Then just wait for them to despawn and you should get the cutscene automatically and the enemies wont be agrod.
@@dommynatrix8226 Finally I did it! I used the method from the previous Chronos video: th-cam.com/video/juqmZ2gP8JU/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=Chronos
I started a dialogue with the pillar of Jeyhera, and switched to the dead Lazel, and from there to the hands, distributing invisibility potions with them. Thank you and @ChronosReturns for everything :)
@@filaksis Glad u did it man!
There's one thing I've wondered about, does it go faster to buy the granades instead of "stealing" them?
And no, I'm not talking about pickpocket, but when you open up one bag in traders vendor, and put stuff in there, then open up another bag in your inventory and shift + click all items then drag them to the bag (needs to be the icon above the slots while the bag is open)
Reason I've wondered is cause you can even stack them inside the bag at the vendor before getting em all in one fell swoop. It just feels like it might be faster than running around selling stuff, instead you just need to find 2 bags or containers (could be barrels if u so wish).
Might be a banned strategy in this sorta glitchless run
@@jiaan100 Thought of that after I have written that comment, and it makes sense since this is "glitchless" but that would fall into glitched run
Can't do that anymore as of patch 7
So i didnt have subtle spell metamagic since u said "oh the metamagic stuff doesnt really matter" and then yes it did indeed matter RIP
Update. Also smokepowder bomb bug hurts hard.
Can you make an updated voice over to really stress the importance to some of the smaller details you breezed over?
This happened to me, too, but I'm training in balanced mode so I just went back and respecced
same :( thankfully i had a backup before that to re-spec
Used this to get my first honour completion, as the patch 7 honour changes scared me. There’s two speed potions by the rock near Astarion, u need to succeed a nature roll to get them, plus u can just use astarion later on, for the Smoke bombs instead of a hireling. However this adds more time, so ain’t a good speedrun start but very helpful for a casual completion.
Yes, speed potions by the rock with Astarion is what I used for my GDQ run, it's a safe back up strat. Recruiting other characters is also nice as a back up, but can result in more cutscenes to go through too.
@@ChronosReturns Yh it’s like an extra 4 mins all together, ain’t viable. Just gotta pray for that rng.
Love you Chronos
Question if anyone sees this! When you just spam skip dialogues is it always the nr1 option?
No. You have to choose. Idk how speed runners are choosing their correct dialogues
How do you get Withers? I must have missed it. If somebody has a time stamp lmk
How do you throw 18 bombs on console?
I am attempting this right now, and just failed the Ketheric fight because 8 bombs wasn't quite enough. I've been had
Make sure you equipped the Callous Glow Ring and threw the stack of bombs on the ground next to the enemy, not on the enemy.
@@ChronosReturns I did but it still didn't work. Using 9 worked fine though. I have also completed my run now. 100%ed the game!
@YouSayRoll I’m having the same issue that you did. My bombs are basically doing no damage, even if I use 10 of them. I toss the bombs beside him and it’s still doing nothing. any recommendations?
@@thegifting267 Alas no. The way I eventually did it was by using 9 bombs on the man and 10 on the aspect. Maybe just try and throw them in the exact same spot? Also not sure if new patch's will have changed anything. Also also, make sure you have the ring equipped as that deals extra damage with the bombs and is super important. Good luck.
I wasn't gonna risk it I used 12 bombs each time haha
quick question, how do you kill ketheric and bone king with a single bomb? do they fell down or something? I throw tons of bomb at them during the battle, and it just dealt normal damage
Think about all the shit Jaheria has been through. Somehow survives BG1+2 and then even survives in a ruthless speed run in BG3. Truly the GOAT.
I'm trying to do this on PS5 and the smokepowder bombs keep exploding as soon as I throw them. Is there a trick to placing and then throwing the bombs? Playing on the most recent patch, if that helps.
First stack she sells is bugged - If you rewatch that part he gives the first set of bombs to a compagnion because of that
@@missingn0o don't know how I missed that. Thanks!
@@UltimateZinco np good luck on your run
Great run! I will try to copy it in order to get my last trophy. One question: of I beat the game in Honor mode, will I unlock also the trophy for Tactician or I need do to two separate runs?
I'm not sure but I believe it would work.
Beating honor mode beats tactician, no need for two separate runs. I adapted this run and got both achievements. Good luck!
when i threw the bombs at ketheric, i blew up instead :( Is it because i failed atlethics? what are the chances 😮💨
The first bombs you purchase are glitches, give them to shadow heart 😂 then get 18.
@@NakaritoGAME same happend to me. this works
Orin keeps respawning in the middle for me, prone.. Am I missing something?
You need to make sure the spot you're throwing Orin is at a place where it says death with it being highlighted red. Just simply throwing off the edge will not properly work.
@@ChronosReturns Took me around 3 hours but I managed to do a full run on console. Thanks so much for the easy dice skin :D
There`s another place you can jump down in the temple, you just need box to stand on, so you have a clean line down. By the way. door with 3 spheres has holes. I managed to blink through it, but I don`t use glithes in my 1hp no dice(=no randomness allowed except initiative) solo tactician run. I`m allowed to see my beautiful golden dice only 4 times in the game, when brain forces me. can`t even unlock stuff)
Damn I totally messed up at the end, I mistakenly had Jaheira end her first turn, and she was mind controlled by one of the enemies in the turn order, effectively ruining the run...
Luckily, I had a speed potion (I went to grab the 2 by the coast/beach at the beginning) and just used Perilous Stakes on myself, laid down all the fireworks and flew away and let it rip...
Damn lucky for that speed potion... *lol*
Took me 3 hours but "Honour" mode has been completed, and my last achievement accomplished...
bro i can't fly in moonrise tower from the wooden deck to top floor, the camera got it's limit, i can't do in any angel i tried, can you help me?
Try zooming out to the max angle you can by holding down on the right thumbstick if you're on controller. If you're on keyboard and mouse you just need to toggle your tactical camera by pressing the key which I believe is "O" by default. Otherwise it's impossible to tell without video.
Sucha cool run
I cant understand why everyone can open the door at Shars trials with "Knock"... My shadow Crystals are bugged but i also cant open the door with Knock, it always says "invalid target". So i'm locked out of Nightsongs prison..
Sorry for interrupting.While Ketheric fight when im trying to throw bombs it exploding in my hands. Am i the only one who doing smth wrong?
He explains that in the video, the first set of bombs u get from store are the issue, if u wanna make 100% sure and don't fully care about "speeding" just getting through the honor run.
Then get some granades at first, then give em to another character (possibly even hire one) have them throw them, if it explodoes, repeat it with a new set.
If it does, then just go from there.
is there a true glitchless category or is there only "we agreed that this action which causes behaviour that looks like a glitch is ok to use"?
I'm unable to subtle spell misty step out of the pods at 21:46. No matter where i teleport to, whether its inside or outside an enemies field of vision, combat immediately triggers. On Xbox if that matters. Can anyone confirm this still works?
on ps5 it worked no problems, you need to be invisible when you trigger the cutscene before the pods, and as soon as the cutscene ends you need to enter turn based mode, and only then escape the pod and invis yourself again all in 1 turn
12:43 "the AI gets bugged when we cast it" wouldn't that be a glitch then?
Died 20 minutes into the video 😢. I didn’t have the subtle sorcerer spell. I am so sad
