These were done on Standard Mode to get through them with as much ease as possible for the first time. I am currently working on them on critical and have completed 7!

I’ve never owned or played a single kingdom hearts, but watching your streams and videos I’ve learn a lot about it

Yo, that is so setting up a "Dream Drop Distance" type sequel but with Kairi and Riku instead of Riku and Sora.
Always listen to Riku's quotes. They kind of give you a hint of what move he is about to do. This only works if you played all prior games except Birth By Sleep.
I have watched as much of this video as I could (we haven’t got to Xion or Master Xehanort ourselves yet) and just love how you guys enjoy the challenge so much and have fun with it! Also the music for these data battles is epic, can’t stop listening!
The descending piano when Young Xehanort activates his DM is the coolest part of that fight

I foolishly opted to go straight into these fights on critical. I’ve managed to beat 5 of them so far but it’s taken like 15 hours haha. I may be ready to embrace the darkness when I’m done.
These are a nightmare on Critical. I've beaten 2 and it took me about an hour and half of constant trying for each. Literally 1 hit takes you down to 1HP and it's really hard to get potions off without dying before the heal hits you

This has to be the best reaction to the Data Battles I have seen so far, and u guys r enjoying yourselves while doing them, DUDE I DIDN’T KNOW GOFF HAD THE SKILLS TO PAY THE BILLS, HE WAS KILLING IT!!!! Xion and Xehanort tho......they made me want to cry 😂 and the Secret Boss was destroying my soul ugh still really enjoyed the battles and this video, u and Goff r the best!!! They weren’t kidding when they told us the bosses would be hard. Proud mode at Lvl. 99 with Ultima, took me TWO WEEKS just for The 12th boss

@@ultimategamer4969 Thanks for the compliment, but trust me, it's not that impressive, look up a TH-camr call WillJV2 and you'll see just how small my achievement is.
Took me 4 days to beat the whole dlc on crit, and I agree these bosses are brutal but also very fair and rewarding. Which I'm thankful for especially with Osakas previous track record of bs bosses. Learning the patterns for the data org and Yozora just felt fair rather than getting punished for bad boss design like MF and that Pete Frankenstein thing from DDD can't remember the name of it.
You don't need 99 for all of them i would hope it helps but after a lot of grinding for extra defense leveling I'm down to my last two xigbar and luxord

Mannnn when i first watched ur playthrough i always sat n wondered why u cry at certain points but i started playing it myself the other day and just got to twilight town when they all start to think about roxas and about bringing him back man tay brought a tear to my eyes

Anti form saved my butt so many times even though you can't heal the heal that it does give you does help with some of them

It took me so many hours to beat the data fights on Crit but it was so much fun.
The change in difficulty from the base game and the dlc in incredible.

Currently have two more to go xigbar and luxord my two hardest taking out the others I was surprised you could handle them before 99 but still hard the levels help so does getting defence up

Im doing these for my first time on standard too! Ive beaten 11 of 13! My first time doing any data battles too! They r so fun! And i only had to cheese on siax! He was so tough for me! Simba was my savior!

My favorite of these fights is Red Velvet Cake. It's not that hard really, but it really is a thing of beauty. I hope in future games we get to see more of his sister Sugar Cookie, too.
Husbando's fight was also really fun, but Moon Pie was rage inducing...

She beat them on standard you can tell by the health
If it helps put on Thunder Resistance Armor to give you more chances to survive. I've beat seven of the fights currently on critical mode and for Larxene as long as you survive the DM. (When she summons her clones.) She won't do it again and she resumes her normal patterns which are pretty manageable.

I mean here's the requirements for the secret ending of kh2:
Beginner: Impossible
Standard: Clear Game + 100% Journal + Clear all Gummi Missions
Proud: Clear Game + 100% Journal
Critical: Clear Game + Defeat all XIII Mushrooms, XIII Data Battles and Lingering Will
(You need to beat the super bosses and mushroomXIII for 100% journal)

I think it's the opposite. Having potions lets you heal safely without cure using your whole bar, and still able to use magic. Although, ultimately, its preference
When I play the boss battles I am not able to use Magic and my Summons never comes up, is there a way to summon them?
Awesome job! Currently I am trying to beat the secret boss and it's really hard at first. Just study his moves and you'll be good. His desperation move is what gets me. Haha

I actually beat all the data boss battles with no problem and although it was difficult and took a lot of patience and timing I managed to defeat Yozora and unlock the hidden secret episode. If you want I can offer some helpful tips on these boss battles. I'm a HUGE Kingdom Hearts fan myself.
Saix on Critical is the worst. I basically had to learn to perfect him.

I’ve since been redoing them on critical and not abusing links. Like I said in the video, I just wanted to get to the secret episode so we didn’t get spoiled. Links aren’t really as bad as you think though, it’s no different from duck flare spam in KH2FM. If you don’t want to use them, totally understandable. They do feel OP.
@@SarahKey Yeah I'm not blaming you, and I get wanting to rush through the bosses for story content :v just as a viewer its *slightly* deflating to see a close fight decided with Ariel or Simba showing up

Critical data battles are a bitch. I die in like 2 seconds flat. I'm trying to do it on proud and I still struggle.

I know there's an "official" ranking of difficulty, but for me, Xigbar was the hardest. No one else took me nearly as long as him.
I mean there isn't an "official" ranking. Difficulty is subjective.
Xigbar was one of the easiest for me, but could be difficult for other people.

So fun fact I only did Larxene and Young Xehanort on standard on the family account but experienced all the rest on my own file which was on critical....so TLDR took me days to do it still stuck on Master Xehanort I don’t have time to learn his patterns before he kills me lol...

Honnestly I started the Data right away on Crit on LV42, cause I was to lazy to grind and I know I wouldn't have go through them 2 times in a row.
After spending at least 3 hours on each of them it was worth it, hellish but worth it XD
So I'm the only one who found Xion actually pretty easy ?
