I’m so happy that u presented this recipe , just letting u know that it could be made in many ways , our special recipe in Port Said , Egypt is to stuff it with Ricotta Cheese mixed with coconut and some sugar 😋 u can also add 2 table spoon of orange blossom to the syrup❤️
@@gloriaaguh5885 No worries 😁😋😋 Just letting u know that this noodles in Egypt Called Konafa , but in some other countries they are calling it KATAIEF 😁 But KATAIEF in Egypt is some type of fried pan cake stuffed with nuts or Ricotta cheese and dipped in sugar Syrup 👍👍 The Konafa stuffed with Ricotta recipe : 1- Ingredients: 750 gm of full cream Ricotta cheese ( leave it overnight in a cloth so u get rid of the excess water ) 2- half u cup of fine grated coconut or as desired 3- One and half bag of Konafa ( what u need is two layers of 1cm of Konafa in 25cm diameter pan 4- Sugar as desired to be mixed with the Ricotta cheese and coconut 5- Butter as needed until all the Konafa is covered with butter 6- Vanilla and 2 tablespoons of orange blossom for the syrup.. first u can mix the Konafa with the butter exactly as u did 👍 then toast it few minutes in a pan on a the hot plate until it loose some of the moisture so it will get crispier in the end result when u get it out of the oven 👍 don’t toast it until it totally crisp otherwise it won’t stick all together 😯 take half of the toasted Konafa and press it hard in the pan exactly as u did to create one centimetre depth of Konafa and cover the pan sides too as u did so the Ricotta cheese won’t touch the pan and get burnt Mix the Ricotta cheese , the coconut and sugar and stuff the lower layer exactly as u did Cover the Ricotta cheese with one centimetre of Konafa to creat a top layer but this time press the top layer really hard to combine all three layers together Put it in the oven until it get this golden colour The turn the Konafa upside down and put it in the oven again until both side gets the same crisp 👍 Once u get it out of the oven the sugar Syrup should be a boiling so it wouldn’t get soggy The syrup should not be runny so it wouldn’t get soggy , pour the syrup on the pan and get rid of the excess The amount of Syrup is according to ur taste Usually Arabs like it very sweet but we love it not very sweet 😋😋😋😋 If u have any further questions just let me know 😋😋😋

Öncelikle hamurun adı bizde kadayıf. Biz arasına sade olarak süt kaymağı koyarız. Yapım işlemi aynı. Sadece bal ve portakal suyu yoktur. Geri işlemler aynen yapılır. Ama buda çok gut olur. Bunu da yaparız. Elinize sağlık. Bizim de elimize sağlık.

I've tried making them, like 'Lokum' , Turkish Pita Bread, 'Turkish Chocolate cake with Caramel', 'Sütlaç' is my favourite. And this time I found a new dessert, it seems I'm a bit difficult to get 'Kunefa', in my country (Indonesia). But I'm curious, what does it taste like....😋🤤 🥮👨🍳

The Konafa stuffed with Ricotta recipe :

first u can mix the Konafa with the butter exactly as u did 👍
