You are wrong brother. CNG benifitable. While selling CNG car they will calculate price on total cost of car. If you go with youtuber after 4 years you will get difference amount. Let's say if you sell your car after couple of years still benifitable and also you save money on fuel

The biggest point that you've not considered is the fact that I can sit in my cng car with AC on without spending too much money. I can't do this with petrol. If you sit for 30mins with AC on in a petrol car, you'll see the needle go down. Do this with a cng car and not even a single point will decrease. This is especially important in Delhi NCR where we sit in traffic jams more than drive.

Fact is that in cng you can travel a whole lot more then in petrol car if you are a daily driver. Few missing points. 1. CNG tank is heavy, which means quicker wearing of suspensions. Tyre touching to fender if the car is loaded. 2. Tyre life will reduce marginally, as tyre has to carry more weight even if car is standing idle. 3. If you are fitting from outside, engine life will get reduced. 4. Since the car is 1 lakh rs costlier, you must have to pay more insurance amount (2k to 3k more) every year as per IDV.

My monthly run is 1200 kms,cng ,costs around rs3500 in delhi. Previously driving petrol for same 1200 kms,costing around Rs 12500 monthly. This is in delhi and practical running cost and not some theoretical calculations. So practical saving on fuel is around Rs 9000 monthly. By this rate with less than a year i will recover difference of Rs 100000 and after that even after a good maintenance i will be in a win win situation till the fourth year(which as per video is the year of recovery of excess cng price).
I kg of CNG is equivalent to 40% more mileage than petrol and b,cos a difference of Rs 20/- is in the price so I take it as 50% more mileage for an average car like Swift ,wagon r, dezire . So if you run 10 km in petrol you will run 15 km in CNG that means If you buy a monthly petrol of Rs 15000/- you you will spend Rs 10000/- in CNG .So if you spend 12500/- in petrol you will spend Rs 8000/- approx .in CNG .You save Rs 4500/- or 5000/- maximum . I have a daily run of around 60 kms,morning time light to medium traffic evening time heavy traffic.Average comes around 11 to 13.That implies around Rs 450 of petrol daily basis.on a 30 days routine it comes around 13000 Rs. For the same period I run on cng and I have to fill tank either on third day return trip or 4th day return that depends on traffic conditions.and gas pressure at cng station.. The average in medium to heavy condition comes out to be 26(this average includes light morning traffic and medium to high evening traffic) ofcourse driving style also needs to be taken into consideration (I am often a light footed driver). The other conditions are type,age,fitness of vehcile. So your 50 percent rule is quite an oversimplification that's why I have shared my practical observation. You might have heard of story about mathematician calculating average height of family before letting them drown in river. So it's better to value experience than theory

As per my calculations assumption Petrol 98 and cng 75 After running 1 lakh km petrol car will cost 2.2 lakh costlier than cng If one is not in mood to sell the car and can run more than 1lakh then cng will be cheaper. We bought used 1yr old dzire cng for 6.5L, 40k running was in great condition. My father travels daily 150km which leads to at least 3000-4000km every month. Dzire is with 80kmph limit and the cng=85Rs and petrol=104 and our cng mileage is giving 41+kmpkg even if 5km is going for petrol then its giving 36kmpkg easily. Since its taluq place there is not much issue with delay in filling it.

Problems are there in both But future is the biggest issue Fossil fuels are becoming more expensive CNG prices might drop or even if they rise they might rise considerably slow but petrol prices can rise 10-20 INR overnight every month We all remember how prices were hiked ₹80 in April ₹100 September That’s the rate of increase. I’m seeing petrol prices at about ₹150-₹180 in 2026-27 when EV infrastructure will develop. But EV production is hazardous and ppl don’t know that. In 2024 CNG is the most sensible option even if you can get an upper variant of petrol only just by spending ₹5K more

I was planning to upgrade my 11 years old Honda Brio Petrol, took a Test Drive of Hyundai Aura CNG and immediately decided not to go for an underpowered CNG Car. The fun to drive element is almost nil in CNG Cars. I would rather spend few more k per month.

Not a practical calculation, petrol car gives an average of 12km with AC and with 1000km ,it makes 1000 km/12km=83km*Rs 96= Rs 7698-Rs 2500 (for Cng cars)=Rs 5468 pet month *12=Rs 65616 yearly, it means afrer Two years saving will start, and if one keeps car for 7yrs, will save Rs 328000/-,pls correct if wrong 😊

My monthly run is 1200 kms,cng ,costs around rs3500 in delhi.
Previously driving petrol for same 1200 kms,costing around Rs 12500 monthly.
This is in delhi and practical running cost and not some theoretical calculations.
So practical saving on fuel is around Rs 9000 monthly.
By this rate with less than a year i will recover difference of Rs 100000 and after that even after a good maintenance i will be in a win win situation till the fourth year(which as per video is the year of recovery of excess cng price).
Which car। And what mileage? 1200km and 12500 rs means around 8 to 9 mileage and 3500rs on cng @75rs per kilo means 25 plus mileage
I kg of CNG is equivalent to 40% more mileage than petrol and b,cos a difference of Rs 20/- is in the price so I take it as 50% more mileage for an average car like Swift ,wagon r, dezire . So if you run 10 km in petrol you will run 15 km in CNG that means If you buy a monthly petrol of Rs 15000/- you you will spend Rs 10000/- in CNG .So if you spend 12500/- in petrol you will spend Rs 8000/- approx .in CNG .You save Rs 4500/- or 5000/- maximum . @@foodking5220 your 40 percent more average than petrol rule is quite scientific and I think this rule is proved since time immemorial.
I have a daily run of around 60 kms,morning time light to medium traffic evening time heavy traffic.Average comes around 11 to 13.That implies around Rs 450 of petrol daily basis.on a 30 days routine it comes around 13000 Rs.
For the same period I run on cng and I have to fill tank either on third day return trip or 4th day return that depends on traffic conditions.and gas pressure at cng station..
The average in medium to heavy condition comes out to be 26(this average includes light morning traffic and medium to high evening traffic) ofcourse driving style also needs to be taken into consideration (I am often a light footed driver).
The other conditions are type,age,fitness of vehcile.
So your 50 percent rule is quite an oversimplification that's why I have shared my practical observation.
You might have heard of story about mathematician calculating average height of family before letting them drown in river.
So it's better to value experience than theory

If one is not in mood to sell the car and can run more than 1lakh then cng will be cheaper. Not necessarily you run it in 5years you can run it in 10 years but assuming petrol and cng price difference remain same.

CNG is very economical compared to Petrol. My duster milage was 6 to 7 km per lit in city but with CNG now 10 to 11 km per kg.

We bought used 1yr old dzire cng for 6.5L, 40k running was in great condition. My father travels daily 150km which leads to at least 3000-4000km every month. Dzire is with 80kmph limit and the cng=85Rs and petrol=104 and our cng mileage is giving 41+kmpkg even if 5km is going for petrol then its giving 36kmpkg easily. Since its taluq place there is not much issue with delay in filling it.
Cost ka sahi bataya. MP mein CNG almost 95 per kg hai, aur Petrol bhi thoda mehenga hi hai, almost 105. MP mein bohot time lagega cost difference recovery karne mein

I have celerio cng after 6 years no power loss in cng servicing also less like petrol ...if you take company fitted cng from specialy maruti car you will not feel any power issue .car engine also very smooth..already my vehicle driven plus 1 lakh km...❤

Yes my calculation also suggests saving of 2 lakh on cng compared to petrol for running of 1 lakh km. Doesn't matter how much time you take 5 year or 10 years. Assuming petrol and cng price difference will remain same
