Love these!! Your videos are always an inspiration but this one shows what can be done with simple gear and an abundance of creativity and experimentation.

Excellent tutorial; not only about the technique but also about the underlying philosophy. Thanks a lot!

Food for thought. I have not tried this kind of imaging. I should at least try it. Thank you.

Nice experiments! Makes the images look really ethereal which really fits the mood of the rainforest in the video :)

Thanks! Glad you liked them, Christian. Something that I don't do very often but definitely an option for when we struggle. Actually, that day I ended up taking a couple of regular shots that worked pretty well, just because doing ICM got me inspired. So a helpful technique!

Thank you very much for this nice and very useful video. And thank you also for including subtitles in Spanish, this makes it accessible to much more people, like me 🙏😊

Well done ! Something interesting is to combine the "ICM" with the flash: You can get the motion blur and add some sharp details !

I love to do this technique during the autumn in the northeast. However, I’ve never considered doing this in B&W. These images are beautiful! They are just soulful with describing the essence of this forest. Thanks for sharing!

Really great video - thanks for sharing your thoughts on ICM. I like what you created in the forest 😉

Very nice images. I thought of Saul Leiter but they are clearly recognizable as your style. I must have a go in the woods with my RX100 Mk3.

Icm photography is so much fun

ICM works even better with colour, which they enhance a lot. It is also a good method for street photography: in cases somebody complains you can demonstrate to them that they are not identifyable in the pictures (no model releases ;-))

I‘m not sure what I would do with these kind of visuals ... would they fit into a series or exhibition or book side by side to your usual work, or would it be a complete new topic ...
Your photographic eye is so well trained to see even in blur mode ;)

For now, it was just for fun. I don't know if they will fit or not along other work, hopefully they will a few years down the road :) But I'm a big believer in creating even when there's no goal or purpose to it, just for the sake of making some images. Everything else will come, if it's bound to happen :) Thanks for watching and for the kind words!

Nearly didn't watch as I've historically no interest - although an appreciation often enough, heh! - of ICM, but (1) I really enjoyed your images and (2) greatly appreciated the mini tutorial and encouragement 🙏 Thank you!

Sorry but you are alone in a wood... why the mask? Are the trees vulnerable 🤔

Bravissimo, per sempre un singolo scatto per ICM; fare 15 scatti diversi e poi combinarli con Photoshop, non è ICM!!!

Hello. I also work with ICM and I really love this way of photography. With ICM you can paint with a camera! Impressionist paintings! With
ICM you can do magics!!! love ICM ....@siamak.icm.behrooz
