Hi Seb! I hope you feel better soon! I had to leave my job as a paraprofessional at an elementary school due to the stress of it was negatively impacting my MS and Parkinson's. I first cut my hours by half, but it was still too much. I fought hard, though! You need to take care of you. It is certainly not an easy decision. Talk to your doctor, as my doctor actually told me that if I kept pushing myself , he would no longer be my doctor. Good luck and be well!

I'm sorry to hear you are sick. i hope you recover soon. I'm in the same position where I'm considering 'redesigning' my life to dedicate more time to me and my health and happiness. if MS has taught me anything it's to enjoy every single moment while you still can and if that means changing jobs, working part time etc then so be it.

Hi, Seb! I've been following you for a while but this is the first time I write you.
I was diagnosed with MS last year and I'm also taking Gilenya. I'm finishing my Medicine degree, and son I will have to choose a medical speciality. I'm sooooo confused about this, I love cardiology but I know it would be very very very physically exhausting and demanding, so I will probably give up my dream and pick up something different because of my health and well being.
I encourage you to do what you think is best for you, you are the only one who has to live with your body, you are the only one who has to live your life.
I really hope your pneumonia gets better!
    Greetings from Spain!

      Hola Teresa!

I pray you feel better. I started following you as I can relate to you. I am in the testing stages now but have no doubt of the diagnosis. Brain scan isn't good so now back in that awful MRI for spine/neck scan. Your videos are keeping me going cause my husband and kids as much as they try to understand(and they do) they really can't. Some times I feel like I am losing my mind and am being torn apart on my right side from head to toe. I just want to say Thank you for posting these. They do matter and help some one out here in the land of youtube.

Yikes! I'm sorry to hear about the illness -- but I'm sure you'll get through it! The idea of dedicating more time to YOU sounds wonderful.

Hi Seb, I'm in the same situation as you at the moment in respect of thinking of changing jobs in order to dedicate more time to me, but it is a difficult decision. I'm facing a bit of MS discrimination so that doesn't help. I think for me the main thought is that life is so short and we only get the one. Like you, whether it be to teach something or do some charity fund raisers, I want to live. Let's do the things we love and enjoy because why live with the What Ifs. xx

Hi Seb is good to see you again! I'm so sorry for you i hope that you get well soon. As you know I have M.S. and i know how awful it is to get that sick... In my case a had to change my degree as a masters student. I'm an Archeologist but i cannot do flied work something that i loved... now i'm studiyng Ancient History, it is a plus on my area of study, but it was not what i wanted. But i'm getting more in love with the work that i'm doing. Changes sometimes are for the best. And in the end you have to think about our health 😊 x

i dont work at all anymore because off my shitty health i lost my 5 year job and offcours i was sad about it but after a while i realised i coouldn t do the thngs fore the job anyway so fore me it was better not to work anymore and not have the stress off being sick and trying to make it tru 9 hours at work everyday it gives me a clear head now not working anymore and health always comes fore work believe me i learned that the hard way keep up with the video s

I feel you right now. I've been taking Tysabri for a year now and my symptom of crippling vertigo started showing up recently right as the semester at my first year of university was wrapping up. I had to put all of my available effort in getting my assignments done and handed in before classes ended. Now it's final weeks and I got crazy behind on my studying. However once my vertigo subsided I decide to hardcore crammed for the next 3 days and was actually starting to feel like I could do good on my finals when norovirus hit me. Now I'm bed ridden and I missed a final today and will probably miss my other one.

Yes continue yoga and inner strength. Is it possible to be vegan and eat raw for you? Think about a good travel.
Well I have anxiety and can't work in normal offices I don't like nosy colleagues. I work from home now its hectic but I will try new methods. Working from home can be stressful in the beginning. Yoga is a healthy option but keep it as a sude thing. try innovating your current job if possible. Guve tuitions or could you try teaching?
