They went to culinary school, that is not even close to apprenticing. I apprenticed with a parisien pastry chef for 7 years. Started in the sink, its the only way. Most of these kids will end up doing carpentry, driving uber etc, most wash out because they were never trained in the first place. Culinary degrees are absolutely worthless. The students get taken hook line and sinker. Culinary school is just finishing school for rich housewives, its a money making scam.
