They have been holding is that your real hair over our heads for so long as if that's what makes you a valid human being. Then when they find out it's real they are secretly mad and jealous as hell. White people don’t give af . lol i only get asked what I’m mixed with by other black people. I am not mixed with anything. Matter of fact when I’ve had weave or braids I’ve had to explain to white friends/co workers that it wasn’t all my real hair. Not saying that’s the experience for everyone. But I’ve DEFINITELY worn my real hair stray and have had other black girls scalp check me and say “ oh your hair looks so nice” 😩😩

Something is seriously wrong with some of you all on this comment thread, it's so sad and pathetic actually that black women are on here doubting other black women's hair length, I can't stress how depressing and sad and petty and weiiirrrd that is, I'm from Jamaica and grew up with tons of black girls with looooong hair including my cousin who looked 100% authentically black, this petty willfully ignorance coming from some of these comments is so disturbing.
Ladies all of our hair can get to this length too!! I do feel since they have personal hairstylist that take care of their hair and by keeping their hair braided majority of the time because of their careers makes it a lot easier for them though.
Celebrities where wigs & weaves to protect their natural hair. Can you imagine all the stress on their hair of they have to curl it every hour for performance. So when they have down time they can wear their natural hair out. I don't know why people think that every black female is bald underneath her wig or weave. When most of them are not. It is a protective style & a fashion you can wear as many colors & styles as you want and still have your natural hair safe & protected.
what percentage should something natural be hidden .. why do we have to ..curl our hair ... our hair is strong and beautiful as is ...nothing wrong with creativity and different styles ..but i think natural hair in the open should have a higher percentage
Thank, God for wigs and weaves. I can't imagine the amount of damage and breakage they would have if they rocked their own hair more. Changing hair styles frequently, straightening and coloring too much will destroy your real hair. I like the video! 😍😍
Curious, what caused black women to make this huge decision to go natural? What year did this happen? I returned to my natural hair in the summer of 2005. I always knew I would since the day I got my relaxer at the age of 11. I didn't like it. So I went natural at 21.
Same here I had it at 12 years old Then I did at 21 years old too So 9 years old of using relaxer I don't regret . So I have been back natural for 8 years
They became educated. We are living in the Information Age. You could also ask why ppl in general have decided to choose organic, go vegan or limit plastic use. When we know better we do better.
